As noted, WWE Network will not air a new episode of Main Event next Tuesday night and Santino Marella's Royal Rumble Lottery Special will air instead.

Main Event is not airing because of WWE's existing deal with the Sky network. With the WWE Network launching in the UK and Ireland on Monday, they are unable to broadcast Main Event into those countries due to the Sky deal. WWE Network is unable to block certain content based on location.

I know there's been Alicia Fox vs Naomi but the more relevant feud (Paige and Nattie vs Bellas) got the airtime so I'm not bothered.

Although I'm bothered by the fact they decided to go with the tag match instead of Triple Threat route. Although since they have been advancing plots on SD again they could change it on SD to maybe a F4W especially since it's on Thursdays. Young wrestlers are all over the card, up and down it. Sting is making sporadic appearances to build for what will likely be his only match with the company for WrestleMania - a show that always, always has a nostalgia corner. It's well placed, smartly done and makes good business sense.

Old guys should still have a component piece of the puzzle. Especially when the young bucks aren't drawing yet.

And since when has the best wrestler ever been the biggest draw? The closest I can think of was when Brock and Angle were headlining SmackDown around 2003. And that's when they were doing 5,000 attendances for TV tapings.

Wonder if for WM they will play his WCW Crow theme or go with the current theme (which is pretty good in my opinion)? WWE cannot be that stupid to think the fans would just accept Bryan having such a short time in the Rumble especially when they were already let down thinking he could be a late entry last year.
Bray Wyatt was one of the best superstars in the Rumble last night yet getting chucked out like that just made it all look worthless.

So I'm going to post my experience, It's long so it's spoilered

I had to leave in the middle of the IC Tag Match because my ride wanted to leave to avoid the crowd and besides that, I live an hour away.

I got there 15 minutes before 6:30. By that time they didn't have the Superstar stuff out there, tarp still had Raw on it. I was surprised with how small the titanitron and ring actually are. They always look bigger on the TV
I was on the TV side, not in the middle but pretty darn close to it. 7th Row in the bleachers.


At 6:30, they played a vignette for WM30. It had a bunch of stuff from past WMs and then it got to thirty. They had John Cena vs Wyatt, Lesnar ending the streak, and Bryan. Then Lillian came out and welcomed us to the show. She told us that Superstars was starting shortly and she introduced Bryon Saxton and Rich Brennan, they came out to the NXT theme.
Then they played the Superstars opening and started the first match, Adam Rose vs Jack Swagger. The guys around me were all smarks so we sang Rose's theme and did We the People. It was a decent match and Swagger won with the ankle lock.
They did the live shot on USA and then did the second match, which was Lucha Dragons vs Ascension. The Dragons were pretty athletic for most of the match and they won.

They then immediately after changed the tarp to Raw again and introduced Cole, JBL, and Booker T. All three came out to pops. Lillian told us Raw would be starting shortly.

Rollins came out with the Authority minus H and Steph. I started the Rollins chant actually. IDK how loud it was on TV yet since I haven't watched it back but I hope it was good. They aired the recap on the big screen. Then Rollins cut his promo. I was on the TV side so I was watching the Titanitron. I did bring a sign but I was too far away for anyone to see it. Orton got a chant as soon as he came out. They set up the main event. They showed us on the big screen the IC match, Orton vs Rollins, and then AJ and Paige, which got a decent reaction.

While you guys had commercials, we got WWE centric ads in the arena. If there was something on the app, they would air it on the titanitron as well I think. The Bellas had a promo where they said "Give Divas A Chance? Give Us a break". They aired another commercial and then had AJ and Paige come out to cheers. The Bellas then came out, to a mixed reaction. Punk chants were starting but everyone in my section started chanting AJ Lee. This happened a couple times in the match. Everyone noticed that this match was going on for a while. I didn't mind but I think AJ should've gotten a bit more offense in. I started a "Let's Go AJ" chant and Paige started pointing in my direction to keep it up because most of the people around me had joined in with me. We liked the match. Then while the next break was happening, the guys in costumes were pulled away, we booed security when they were yanked.

They came back and They aired the backstage segment where Big Show and Kane were having a discussion with Rollins, Ryback then came out. You know that loud boom in his promo? It's God Damn Loud in person. They even did it twice. Aired more ads and then the Miz promo. Miz came out. We booed the Miz and cheer Mizdow. We yelled out "We want Mizdow" chants through the squash match. After we booed the Miz for hitting the Skull Crushing Finale.

Another break, we could see them setting up the table for the contract signing. When we came back, John Cena came out, I started singing "John Cena Sucks" and the group (which included 8-10 year olds behind me) all joined in with me. I tried "Let's Go Rusev, Cena Sucks" but that didn't work. We chanted "We Want Lana". We all agreed that was a great segment but was disappointed when the table wasn't broken. When the Russian Flag drops down, the boom is loud like Ryback's.

During the break, they took down the flag and packed it for the next show probably. Took everything away and aired Kidd and Cesaro's promo.
First the New Day Came out, no reaction but my group was chanting "Please Turn Heel" and then Kidd and Cesaro came out. We laughed when Lillian forgot to introduce them as the tag champs. Big E got a let's go Hawks chant but I wasn't sure if it was for him since he played FB at Iowa or if they weren't very interested in the match because people tried chanting Cyclone Power and JBL, No Punk chants. We didn't like the ending or Los Matadores.

Another break, then the Battle Royal happened I believe. That barely got a reaction.

Then they aired the Rollins and J&J Security segment. During these segments they actually keep the lights dimmed except for when they have the shot of the crowd watching the backstage segment.

Bray Wyatt tonight ad, then reminding us of what's to come. Commercial Break.

Then they had the Big Show vs Erick Rowan segment. We Booed Big Show. Some fans chanted Please Retire at the big show.

Another break, in the middle they had Heyman sneak out. We watched Lesnar's video and then Heyman speak. Half the time we were looking at the exit to see if security was getting ready to come down. I was five seats away from Roman's steps.

Funny story when he came down. I had a dad with his kids by me, never once did he warn me that his kids were going to try to crawl over me for a look at Roman. I was almost shoved into the next row. I also had my sign too. It said "I have the IC Title" so when he was making his way down you may have seen it. I was kinda against chanting Daniel Bryan at first but I wanted to add to the chant to see how he'd react. I liked how Roman used it to his advantage. Wish they were portraying him like this the whole time. I thought it was a decent segment.

I stayed for the IC 6 Man match entrances. They had a few commercial breaks, you could see them setting up the ladders for the IC Title Segment, Harper, Stardust, Barrett made their entrances for the tag match, aired another commercial, and then they did the face entrances, with Bryan first, All of us did the yes chant, he was super over in Iowa, Ziggler 2nd, Pretty loud pop, and Ambrose third to a decent pop. I left a bit after R-Truth came out.

All in all, It was a great show. I plan on watching the TV show tonight to see if I could find myself.

PS. I had a sign and that wasn't checked by security before I went in. The Bryan story is BS.

I rewatched it, It's really hard to find me but look for a pink sign and white sign in the opening segment. Only way you can really see it.

Regarding the costumed guys that had to switch clothes. They were actually kinda distracting before the show started, Savage was drawing attention to themselves. Apparently they've done this in the past as well.

As for the sign situation, they didn't even check my sign when I made my way in. I didn't see security ask for people's signs. Doesn't mean that it happened but I don't believe those stories about Security removing signs just because they had enough Bryan signs.

The Ring sounds different in person, kinda sounds soft compared to the TV too.

A Mexican Pro Wrestler named Perro Aguayo Jr. or Hijo de Perro Aguayo has died in Mexico in a match opposing Rey Mysterio Jr.

I'm not posting the video but it's kinda grusome given that they continue with the match for a bit.

As noted, top Lucha Libra star Hijo del Perro Aguayo passed away after an accident during a tag match for the CRASH promotion in Tijuana, Mexico last night. The match also featured Rey Mysterio, Tigre Uno and Manik. Shortly after a spot in the ring with Mysterio, Aguayo was rushed to a hospital just a block away but was pronounced dead at around 1am local time.

The cause of death for Aguayo was a stroke caused by cervical spinal damage, according to MedioTiempo.com. The medical report says he suffered from whiplash.

They also noted that the doctor in charge of the CRASH event was busy treating two other wrestlers backstage which is why he wasn't at ringside when the accident with Aguayo happened. The doctor defended the delay in responding to Aguayo, saying it was not malpractice.

Medio Tiempo also noted that Aguayo was carried away from the ring on a piece of plywood as a way to get him backstage as fast as possible. He was then moved to a stretcher and into the ambulance. The doctor also defended that decision.

Once Aguayo arrived at the hospital, Dr. Ernesto Franco and other specialists tried to resuscitate Aguayo for about an hour. He was then given a MRI to rule out other causes and his death was pronounced.

Word is that the incident is being investigated for manslaughter in Mexico. Keep in mind they investigating the promotion itself not Rey Mysterio.

The Associated Press has published an article on Brock Lesnar’s decision to re-sign with WWE and turn down an offer to return to UFC/MMA.

In the article, Brock Lesnar confirmed that he was offered a new deal at Raw this week, and it was one he could not refuse. He added the deal is indeed for 3 year.

“The fighter in me wants to continue, but at this stage in my life, it ain’t just about me anymore,” Lesnar said. “You put your pride to the side. You hug your wife and your kids. I’m a 37-year-old man, and some days I feel like I’m 80, just with all the things I’ve experienced, all the things I’ve done. I feel fortunate about it. It’s like, what else can I do? Why go backward?”

With regards to UFC, Lesnar noted the promotion made him an offer which was “10 times” more than he previously made in UFC. After Lesnar turned down the offer, UFC Chairman Lorenzo Fertitta actually doubled the offer, but Lesnar told him the decision was not about the money. Lesnar noted he called UFC officials to inform them of his decision as he was pulling into the ESPN studios to make his announcement.

“I’m riding the caboose of my sports career. I just barely caught this thing. I’ll see you the next time,” Lesnar added.

5.4 Million Total Viewers Tuned-In to See Their Favorite WWE Superstars Live, Following a Record-Breaking WrestleMania

NEW YORK, NY – April 1, 2015 – Following WRESTLEMANIA 31, where Seth Rollins won his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship, this week’s WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW delivered 2.4 million adults 18-49, 2.4 million adults 25-54 and 5.4 million total viewers from 8-11 p.m. (live +same). This is the highest total viewership for RAW in nearly three years, since July 23, 2012, the night of the RAW 1000 special.

Monday’s RAW was televised live from the SAP Center in San Jose, CA, and was highlighted by Brock Lesnar challenging Rollins, the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, to a rematch; United States Champion John Cena defending his title againstDean Ambrose; and Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan defeating Dolph Ziggler.

Monday’s RAW was up vs. last week’s telecast by 27% in adults 18-49, 24% in adults 25-54 and 28% in total viewers 2+. USA was the #1 network Monday night in primetime in adults 18-34 as well as men 18-34 and 18-49 for all of television — including the broadcast networks.

RAW was also the #2 most social show of the day with 400,000 tweets, reaching a unique audience of 3.6 million people and generating 27 million impressions.

Paige is still listed on the UK/Euro Tour and London Raw in a couple weeks so she may be leaving after that.

Meaning she's not going to be the one to take the title off Nikki.

Personally, I think they should debut Charlotte right after ER and to write Paige out, Charlotte just devastates her, writing her off TV for a bit. - There were rumors this past weekend that WWE had Scott Steiner banned from the Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday night after we exclusively revealed the image seen below, that was posted backstage, instructing security to keep Steiner out with Steiner's photo included.

It turns out there was reportedly an "ugly incident" on an airplane with Hulk Hogan's wife Jennifer. No other details are known at this time but it turned into a huge issue, leading to WWE keeping Steiner from their venues this weekend.

At the Hall of Fame on Saturday night, security were on alert at every entrance and told that if Steiner showed up, to not allow him in under any circumstances.

Sheamus has a new theme and entrance. Is wearing all black for his attire now.

Main Event was Sheamus vs Bryan in a non title match with Barrett at ringside (They said that Ziggler was "injured", which is why this was the main event)

Match ended with Barrett busting Bryan open with a Bullhammer while the ref wasn't looking, giving Sheamus the win by countout.

Cena also cut a promo, saying he'll bur-I mean give a open challenge to anyone that wants the US Title every week. Rusev came out, It will be Rusev vs Cena at Extreme Rules if Cena still has the title by then. Cena also called Rusev a D word, it was bleeped out after the D so I have no idea what he called him exactly.

It's not like she had much else to do.

It does say from In Ring Competition in the WWE, maybe she'll come back for a cameo or a GM role again.

I think Nikki, Paige, Naomi (despite being a bit botchy, she's very athletic), Charlotte, Sasha, Natalya, Bayley, and Becky can carry the Division just fine.

I really hope the You suck chants from Monday didn't play a role

MitB 2011 overrall is underrated if you take out Punk/Cena. I know a bunch of people rag on the PG Era and Cena, but he and Punk put on a good match then.

They just added 1998 Raws up there so we have AE Raws now.

Update on Sami Zayn, if you didn't watch Monday Night Raw, Sami Zayn accepted John Cena's Open Challenge.

When he made his way out, he did his typical routine, except when he threw his arms up, he may have dislocated his shoulder three weeks out from Takeover Unstoppable. He did wrestle the entire match.

There's no official word on his condition but word is that he tore his rotator cuff. Meaning his match against Kevin Owens at Takeover could be in jeopardy.

That's not the only thing, Hideo Itami hurt his shoulder and will be missing action for 6-8 months. Meaning that it might just be Tyler Breeze and Finn Balor duking it out for the #1 contendership.

The Good News is that they aired a Uhaa Nation Vignette this week, meaning he could work Takeover.

We might see the card play out like this now
