PWInsider.com is reporting there has actually been talk of the WWE brand extension returning over the past few weeks, which could possibly have something to do with the returning Shane McMahon asking for control of WWE RAW. Shane’s return appears to be the start of the storyline, which could see him in charge of RAW, and the other McMahons running Smackdown.

Shane’s return could be viewed as a possible ‘reboot’ for the company and for talents, with RAW getting a new start with a new leader in control. Additionally, it was noted that it will be interest to see where, if at all, the NXT brand fits into any brand split plans, as NXT has been very closely linked to Triple H, and there are big plans for NXT to be WWE’s third touring brand this year.

First Emma may have gotten a concussion during a NXT house show match with Asuka as the match reached an abrupt end with a TKO

Then Tommaso Ciampa hurt his shoulder after he took a shatter machine vs The Revival (Dash and Dawson)

On the main roster side, two minutes into a match, Becky drove her knee into Charlotte's face, breaking Charlotte's nose. Match ended in No Contest

And Sheamus got busted open in a US title match vs Kalisto after a moonsault

I think her being culled from Total Divas was always going to be her demise in all honesty. She was the first diva that came to mind that they'd release with Tamina injured it'd feel a bit of a kick in the teeth and Rosa on maternity leave, there was only one other main choice. But yeah that probably didn't help.

Gutted Sandow is gone, but expected it all the same.

I'm really glad that AJ Styles turned heel. I do think he was working as a face but it's much better as a heel. Although I hope Balor joins up soon so maybe they can call themselves Bulletproof rather than The Club since that's a lazy, generic name in my opinion.

There's a big rumor according to Meltzer about the brand split and top guys. Reigns and Rollins will be the top feud on Raw and Styles/Cena will be the top feud on SD.

While I do like Jojo as an interviewer, I kinda hope Greg Hamilton (Superstars/Main Event Ring Announcer, does NXT a bit as well) or Bryon Saxton replaces Jojo as SD's ring announcer. She doesn't have the voice for a ring announcing job. She sounded awful on SD this week a couple times.

A VOW podcaster knows what one got dinged for, a steroid called Avadar which helps with osteoporosis and those with short statures.

I'd say that one was Paige.

Meltzer also says that Paige has a multi year contract, Del Rio has an opt out in September.

I won't be surprised if Paige does leave but I don't think she'll, although I think it's likely she magically reappears in NXT for a while for regrouping and a redemption storyline (She doesn't actually go for the NXT Women's Championship but before returning to the main roster after the holidays she has a non title match with Ember Moon or Asuka at a Takeover)

Women's championship match, quite odd that it was on so early considering it was being built as one of the top 4 matches iirc, the match itself was alright, so many botches though, as much as I adore Sasha, I don't think she's a very safe worker, hopefully the injury is a sell, but I think it's inevitable that she's either injured or suspended, Charlotte still sucks though.

IC title was beyond pointless.

Cena vs Styles stole the ****ing show and it took me by complete surprise, AJ getting the clean win was definitely the right choice and I now see him going on and chasing the title.

New Day vs The Club, meh match, who the **** is Jon Stewart and why is he so heavily involved with wrestling? send him away, yay for Big E though.

Ambrose vs Ziggler, possibly one of the worst matches of the night for me, it felt flat, slow and by the end of it I was so over it, I expected so much more than the sloppy show they put on tbh, am I the alone in thinking that Dean was wrestling like a heel? I'd love for him to go back to being a heel, he's so much better at it, him being a face is stale af now.

6 woman tag match, just give Naomi a title now please, she deserves one just for being one of 3 people in that much that didn't suck, Nikki returning made me happy, I'm glad she got that massive pop, easily one of the best female wrestlers they have.

Finn vs Seth, I was expecting so much more from these two, but apart from the off moment, the match felt so stale to me, those two could have easily put on a match of the year candidate but it just flopped imo, the crowd sort of ruined it too, chanting and booing the new belt for the entirety of the match, like it's ugly, we get it, shut up, I'm really happy for Finn though, hopefully they don't screw him over with a month long reign.

Rusev vs Roman, Rusev remains one of my faves <33 but this 'fight' was bull**** and Vince was probably hard all the way through it.
