Picking up the bronze in this quiz, with a score of 14 is our previous victor Ammi! It wasn't enough to take the win this time but still very well done, consistency from start to finish secured you a podium finish :D

Taking the silver this time is the first lady of Only Connect on TiBB herself, Livia finished with a brilliant 15 points. As you said there, a 1 kilohertz sine wave is the famous "Bleep" noise you'll have no doubt heard many a time on various talk shows. "Zounds!" is a famous replacement word used instead of swearing, which means "God's wounds". Maybe I'm slipping again. Yes, with just one clue you're right yet again Livia, bagging you 5 points. Carlisle Civil Servants were once asked to pretend they were answering machines, horse_ebooks was a twitter account people believed to be random generated strings of words but was really being controlled by an actual person. The Chinese Room is a thought experiment in which someone acts as if they were a computer translating English to Chinese, and AWESOMEO 4000 is the robot Cartman pretends to be in South Park.
