Ok, could it be date related?
5th April/7th May/6th September...
If so then how? Sporting events? The Grand National is early April usually?
..the only connection I can see is that they all have a Roman numeral value in them but I don't think it's that....

The way Ammi wrote it before the final clue didn't seem like she was giving it as an answer, but she did give the answer after four clues, so 2 points or 1 point? I'll let you decide what's fair, people.

..oh, I've just realised that I did say it after three clues as well...

Truthfully, this is the right answer
Sports that came about because of works of fiction. Muggle Quidditch has to have a minimum of 2 of each gender. Don't ask me how I know this...
I was just attempting to make Livia say "Quidditch Rules" :P
http://i.imgur.com/5GB4dih.png
These are all official rules to Quidditch, or, as Livia more specifically says, Muggle Quidditch. The Hoops rule and Snitch rule are the same as the fictional version I believe (which doesn't have an official ruleset) but in the muggle version, the balls may be kicked and picked up, and it is a requirement that each team have two players of differing genders. Livia is making a bit of a mockery of my questions, in all honesty, bagging another 5 pointer.
This may be the highest scoring Round 1.
We'll see if that streak continues though with the MUSIC QUESTION! Yes, been a while since I've done one of these, mainly as formatting them is a bugger.

The last clue would've been "Happy" by Pharell Williams, but that's correctamundo for 2 points. All contain the name of a dwarf, specifically from Walt Disney's version of "Snow White" (they have different names in basically every other telling of the story).
You heard the theme from Doc Martin, Sleepy Lagoon from the original Desert Island Discs and Dopey Joe by The Velvet Underground. Very well done for two points.
That means, as we enter round 2:
Livia: 15 points
Ammi: 4 points
But it's still anyone's game (maybe) as we enter Sequences! You'll get up to three clues, I want to know what comes fourth. I'm starting this round with a showstopper (Not literally, I hope), what comes fourth? (I love this question) Time starts now:

http://i.imgur.com/VFaSU0s.png
That's exactly it! It's known as the "Hamming Distance" between the two words, how many letters you would have to change in the first word in order to get to the second word. So the hamming distance of the first clue is 4, then 3, then 2, and the hamming distance between Blues and Clues is 1. So that's a point to Shaun, well done indeed.

Newry is a city in Northern Ireland. Specifically, the 4th largest city. Northern Ireland is the 4th largest country in the UK.
Newport is the 3rd biggest city in Wales, which is the 3rd largest UK country.
Edinburgh is Scotland's 2nd largest city, so I was looking for the largest city in the largest country of the UK, which would be London.

I feel like this sequences round hasn't been going too well. Some of you higher point scorers must be feeling downtrodden, maybe you could use a cuddle.
This first clue isn't aimed at anyone specifically:

That's brilliant

Yes indeed these are all anagrams of the four most recent U.S. Presidents, the most recent is Barack Obama, and I simply wanted some rearrangement of those letters, of which Bomb a Kaa car certainly is. It's a little less cosy than Go Hug Hebrews, but it will certainly get you the 5 points, Livia.
..wow..:amazed:...well done Liv, I was going to go out and hug a Hebrew as well...I would never have got that...
Tregard

So, in that round:
Ammi - 5
Livia - 5
Shaun - 1
Walls soonish!

I am Livia, and I approve this message.

:amazed: that was genius, I'd never have got it.
Have you been watching the new series T? I didn't even know there was one until flicking bored through the 'on demand' pages... they seem to start new series every 3 months.

I haven't seen a new series, when's it on Shaun?
Shaun
22-04-2014, 06:26 PM
Mondays, 8:30 I think. I like the first few episodes because they tend to be 'easiest' (ie. I get one or two answers right :amazed:)

And now we enter round 3, the connecting walls. As always, 2 points for giving me a group of four and their connection, and a bonus point to everyone who scores in the round. Here's your first:

They very much are all tanks (As Livia said, sorry Livia!)
This is a Churchill tank:

and this is a Schofield:

Although I must admit WW2 isn't my strongpoint :P
So, at the end of that first wall:
GiRTh = 3
Katherine = 4
Ammi = 3
Hopefully this next wall will bemuse your better brain-cells, but beware belittlement by myself if your bets bust:

Those complete the wall for 2 points a piece. Yes, I was wondering if anyone would've known about the 4 Chicken McNugget "shapes", I've been figuring out how to use that one since the second quiz :P
So let's have a look at the scores, going into the final round:
Livia = 25
