Well, the weathers been miserable plus I've had a lot to do at work, and my daughters grand mother died yesterday and they were close so I feel so bad for her, so it's been a bit mentally draining I guess

Yeah, she'll be going over to England tomorrow for a week with her dad (his parents live over there and his sister) so i think it'll be good for her to see her grandad as well, she's awful worried about him, poor thing

..yeah, she'll be feeling helpless as well and it'll be hard for her to see his grief, which will only add to her own but that's why I think if you feel as though you're contributing in a practical way it does help and help you to focus more..there will be so many things she can offer advise on/ask him about if she feels able to do so herself, but that will probably just happen or not happen on instinct when she sees him and how he's dealing with it....

I was getting more and more pissed off with the same old s**t they pulled every year and the annoying judges etc etc but the final straw was this Irish girl Melanie, she got as far as judges houses a couple of years ago but she was never picked for the live shows right? And that was fine, I didn't think she was anything special but the following day i was driving to work and I turn on the radio and her mother is being interviewed and her mother said that when she had her first audition she sang a song and all the judges gave her a standing ovation as did the crowd, it was so good, then they asked her to sing a second song which was ok but not nearly as good, turns out the one they showed on TV was her second song. So I come into work and google the first song on the off chance someone had recorded it and someone from the audience that day had done. It was outstanding, and I was thinking wow talk about the producers making me think exactly what they want me to, that she was only mediocre when in reality they hid how great she was. So I stopped watching.

Then I tune in for the first time last week since then and who is on the screen? only Melanie being put through to judges houses again f/

I've been up hours. Got all my jobs done and now going to enjoy a beautiful Sunday. I spent last Sunday under the fog of a hangover and so today I feel as fresh as a daisy.
