(BrantSteele doesn't like doing summaries any more but just know that weeks 6 through to 8 are possibly the greatest weeks of any Big Brother ever, Christy won the Power of the Last Laugh but still got DaVonned and Beth would probably be the oldest female winner, if not outright winner, of BBUS which is actually quite depressing?)

Week 1
On Day 1, Andrew, Beth, Kerri, Kris, Kurt, Nicky, Tim and TK enter the house. Tim sits out of the first HoH competition, which Kris wins. Afterwards, Christy, Hendekea, Jamal, Jenny, Liz and Mel enter the house, followed by Joe and Nina. Joe sits out of the second HoH competition, which Jamal wins. For sitting out of the HoH comps, Tim and Joe are rewarded with immunity. They also get to grant one other HouseGuest immunity - Tim picks Kerri and Joe chooses Andrew. Jamal nominates Beth and Nicky (the latter of which he feels is a physical threat and an outsider) and Kris nominates Kurt and Liz, as he has noticed they have already become close. Kurt and Liz win the BoB comp, and Kris is dethroned. In this time, the house begins to feel that Mel's behaviour is intimidating and aggressive, and Jamal feels his comments towards him have racist undertones. At the Veto draw, Nina, Mel and Kerri are randomly selected to compete alongside Jamal, Beth and Nicky. Kerri wins the PoV comp, and is persuaded by Jamal to use it on Beth to backdoor Mel. In return, he offers his loyalty to her. At the PoV ceremony, Jamal's plan is put into action when Kerri uses the Veto on Beth, with Mel going up alongside Nicky as the replacement nominee. When it comes to the vote between the two house outsiders, Mel is sent home by a vote of 8 to 5.

Week 2
Beth wins the first part of this week's HoH comp, followed by Jenny, who wins the second half. A newly-formed alliance between many of the girls and Kris - named G² - celebrates this victory. Beth and Jenny discuss their options, and nominate Andrew and Jamal (both large threats in the game) and TK and Joe respectively. Andrew and Jamal win the BoB comp, with TK and Joe left on the chopping block and Beth as the sole HoH. Jamal feels betrayed by Kerri, who he assumes is part of the alliance that nominated him in the first place. At the Veto draw, Liz, Christy and Kurt (themselves in a four-person alliance with Joe) are randomly selected to compete alongside Beth, TK and Joe. At the PoV comp, Kurt wins the Veto, and decides to take down Joe, securing the alliance between the two. However, he does this with trepidation, as he fears that in return Beth will nominate one of his other two main allies, Liz and Christy. His fears become a reality when at the PoV ceremony, Beth replaces Joe with Christy. Although Christy wins the chance to void the votes of three other HouseGuests (choosing Kris, Andrew and Jamal), this is ultimately not enough and she is evicted with 7 of the 9 votes cast.

Week 3
Nicky and Tim are the two winners of this week's physical HoH comp, despite now being on opposing sides of the house. Nicky nominates TK and Andrew, members of the Tornado Team alliance, for being strong threats to her game, whilst Tim selects Kurt (who he does not feel is being loyal to either side) and G² member Jenny. TK and Andrew win BoB, dethroning Nicky, leaving Tim as the sole HoH and letting Kurt and Jenny remain on the block. Whilst Kurt begins to wind the house up with his behaviour and his role in a number of arguments, TK, Nina and Kerri are drawn to compete alongside Tim, Kurt and Jenny for the Veto. This PoV is won by TK, who, together with Tim, decides that keeping Kurt in the game would be more dangerous than keeping a member of G², an alliance they see as weak. This plan is put into action at the PoV ceremony, where Jenny is saved by TK and Kerri, viewed as even less of a threat by Tim, is named as her replacement. Despite Joe advising Kurt that he should keep a low profile for the rest of the week whilst he throws G² under the bus to the rest of the HouseGuests (especially Andrew, TK and Jamal), the players choose to evict Kurt with 8 votes to Kerri's 3. More notably, it seems that TK has been won over by Joe's dirty work and opts to evict Kerri, though this decision has no effect.

Week 4
This week's memory-based HoH is won by Beth and Andrew respectively, marking the second week in a row that the two players with the most power have been on opposite sides of the house. Andrew nominates Kerri and Nicky, who he believes are running the G² alliance, whilst Beth nominates Joe and Liz. Meanwhile, with Kurt gone, Joe decides to form a new, bigger alliance with Andrew, Jamal, Liz, TK and Tim (also trying and failing to recruit Kris). They christen themselves Final Force. It is to this group who Liz admits she is playing the game with a twin, and asks that they do their best to keep her in the game until after the fifth eviction. Kerri and Nicky win the BoB comp, meaning that Beth becomes the sole HoH for the second time in four weeks. It is at this point that Final Force begin to suspect that Beth is the puppet master behind her alliance, but she manages to convince them otherwise - although she does not intend to throw anybody under the bus, the alliance come away from their meeting under the assumption that it is Hendekea who they must target. Nicky, Jenny and Hendekea are drawn to compete alongside Beth, Joe and Liz in the PoV comp, which is won by Hendekea. For Final Force, this confirms their suspicions, and they believe that Joe is Hendekea's target. At the Veto ceremony, Joe is surprised when Hendekea uses the PoV on him, with Beth naming Jamal as the replacement. It soon transpires that Jamal was G²'s backdoor target all along, with his suspicious house activity and forceful game play being the reason for this move. Despite campaiging against his new alliance member, Jamal is evicted by a vote of 8 to 2.

Week 5
A quiz-based knockout tournament sees Jenny and Andrew crowned this week's joint-HoHs. Tensions between the alliances has heated up by this point, with Andrew and TK forming a final two deal and Andrew accusing Hendekea of spreading lies to further her game. At the nominations ceremony, Andrew nominates Hendekea and Kris, whilst Jenny nominates Tim and TK. The latter pair win the BoB comp, resulting in Jenny being dethroned and Andrew being crowned the sole HoH. At the Veto draw, Joe, Liz and Beth (Kris' HouseGuest's choice) are picked to compete alongside Andrew, Hendekea and Kris in the PoV comp. This is won by Kris, who uses the power on himself. Andrew, having consulted his alliance and determined on getting Hendekea out, nominates Kerri as a pawn in Kris' place. Hendekea and Kerri - close allies in the game - refuse to campaign against one another, however the majority of G² agree that Hendekea would be best for them going forward in the game and reluctantly agree to vote for Kerri, under the assumption that this will get them a majority. Despite their best efforts, Nicky's last-minute change of heart sees Hendekea leave, with 5 votes compared to Kerri's 4. Having survived five evictions, Liz's secret is revealed to the house, and Marie enters as a fully-fledged HouseGuest. However, there is little time to celebrate, as the HouseGuests are rushed straight into the competition for the first solo Head of Household of the season.

Week 6
After a lengthy battle of endurance, Kerri comes out on top to become the game's first solo HoH, lifting her alliance's spirits. Meanwhile, Final Force assume that Marie will stay loyal to her sister's alliance, but they do not realise that Liz's allegiance to the group is drifting and Marie would in fact prefer to play both sides of the house. Kerri nominates Andrew and TK as threats to her game, stating that she wants to be as up-front as possible and is not planning a backdoor strategy. Final Force choose to be wary of Kerri's comments, as her alliance has blindsided them before. The Veto draw sees Nicky, Liz and Joe picked to battle it out alongside Kerri, Andrew and TK. The Veto is won by Nicky, with the other five HouseGuests collecting a series of prizes (both booby and real) for their efforts. After Nicky decides not to use the Veto on either HouseGuest, cracks begin to show in Final Force, with Andrew falling out with both Tim and Liz. It is left to Joe to back Andrew in the run-up to the eviction, but ultimately his support proves mostly useless - Andrew is evicted with 8 votes, compared to sole dissenter Joe's one vote. Following his exit, Julie informs and congratulates the HouseGuests on making the Big Brother jury.

Week 7
Kris wins the second endurance-centered HoH comp in a row, and delivers another success for G². With Final Force in tatters, Joe, TK, Tim, Liz and Marie join together to form Pentagon, who discuss their plans as to who to target in the event of them gaining power again. They decide to persuade Kris to nominate Nina, who they view as a floater in the game, as they admit that Kris would be unlikely to target one of his own alliance members. Kris tells them what they want to hear and agrees to work with Pentagon, leaving the five blindsided when he puts Tim and TK on the block. Unbeknownst to Kris, Nicky (who he did not consult when making his nomination decisions) and Tim are beginning a showmance, although the general consensus is that Tim has more romantic feelings for Nicky than Nicky does for Tim. The PoV selections see Kerri (Kris' choice), Nicky and Nina selected to participate with Kris, Tim and TK for the Veto. It's Nicky's turn to win the Veto, and despite TK trying to make a deal with her, she honours her showmance by using the PoV on Tim. This annoys Kris slightly, who nominates Joe as a replacement. TK tries to drum up support to get the needed votes from his alliance, but this is seen as him trying too hard and he eventually resigns himself to his fate. At the eviction, TK is sent packing with a majority of 6 votes out of the 8 cast. His exit results in Pentagon switching to the now more mathematically accurate Quad Squad.

Double Eviction
However, this is not it for the night. Julie gathers the HouseGuests to inform them that tonight is a double eviction night, confirming some of their suspicions. The HouseGuests go straight to the backyard for the HoH comp, which is a quiz won by Nicky. She immediately nominates fellow alliance members Joe and Liz. Jenny, Kris and Nina have been drawn to compete alongside the HoH and the two nominees for the Veto, a skill-based competition which Joe is crowned the victor of. He uses this PoV to remove himself from the block, and Nicky names Marie as the replacement nominee. The house makes their choice, and by a vote of 5 to 2, Liz leaves the Big Brother house. The Quad Squad has become the Thunder Three, and G², who are comfortably running the house, are still standing strong (their current members being Kerri, Jenny, Beth, Kris and Nicky, although Marie and Nina are flirting with loyalty and Nicky is flirting with Tim).

Week 8
The next HoH comp, an eliminator-style memory comp, is won by Kris. He decides to nominate Tim and Joe, as the last two HouseGuests solidly on the other side of the house. However, with Nicky recently showing signs of being disloyal to him and being a clear competition threat, Kris briefly discusses the pros and cons of backdooring her with the rest of G². They ultimately decide that she is a worthwhile number and Kris promises not to nominate her, although he doesn't admit that this discussion happened to Nicky. Tim and Joe agree to work together to get one of them off the block and persuade the rest of the house to vote against the replacement nominee (they feel that Marie is most likely to be evicted after them, and as she is a weak member of their alliance in their eyes, they are confident that they will be able to get the HoH on their side. At the Veto draw, Beth, Nicky and Jenny are chosen to compete alongside Kris, Tim and Joe. The PoV is an OTEV comp, which is ultimately won by Kris. Tim and Joe both attempt to negotiate with him and ask him to use the Veto on one of them, with Marie as the replacement nominee. Kris goes along with this, although secretly plans to stick to his original nominations, leaning towards targetting Tim who he feels is easily influencing Joe's decisions. Tim soon realises that Kris' word wasn't to be trusted, but this is too late - Kris turns down the chance to use the Veto, leaving Tim and Joe on the block. At the live eviction, the house is split - Beth, Nina and Marie choose Joe, whilst Kerri, Jenny and Nicky follow Kris' plan and vote for Tim, believing that he is the bigger threat. Ultimately, it is put to the HoH to break the tie, and Kris opts to see his scheme brought to fruition by evicting Tim. Joe, severely outnumbered by this point, then tries his hardest to get Marie and Nina back on his side. Having also spoken to Kris in an attempt to build bridges, Joe discovers that Kris is still thinking of targetting Nicky.

Week 9
The tides begin to turn when Marie wins the proceeding HoH comp, which combines endurance and physical ability. G² remain confident that they will be able to get Marie on their side when it comes to the nominations, especially as Nina has recently pledged her allegiance to their side of the house. However, Marie agrees to consult Joe on who she should nominate, as this is what her sister would have wanted. They decide to target Kris and Nicky, as two major threats to their games. As they have nominated two comp beasts, they concur that if one of the two wins the Veto, they will campaign against the other and put up a pawn alongside them. All the while, Marie makes suggestions that she is going after Beth in order to put the house off the scent. At the nominations ceremony, Marie surprises the house (but not Joe) but putting Kris and Nicky up on the block, being honest with her reasons for doing so. Kris and Nicky then put their differences aside and vow to bargain themselves out of the situation. Nina, Kris' choice Beth and Jenny are drawn for the PoV comp alongside the HoH and the two nominees, and Kris and Nicky sit down with each of the three picked Veto players to talk about what would happen if they won the PoV. To their relief, each of them agrees to consider taking down one of the nominees, whilst Nicky approaches Marie to try and decipher her thought process and find out who she is targetting. Marie replies that she is gunning for Beth, but if the situation comes down to the nominations being kept the same, she would want Kris out over Nicky. With Nicky believing Marie's word on this (as everyone she has spoken to has said they will most likely use the Veto), she persuades the other HouseGuests to take Kris off the block if they get the opportunity. Going into the PoV comp, Kris and Nicky are feeling confident about their chances, even more so when their ally Beth wins the Veto, ensuring her safety. However, it soon dawns on Nicky that Beth can no longer be put up alongside the other nominee, and instead approaches Marie to try and persuade her to put Joe up if the Veto is used. Marie does not give Nicky a solid answer, annoying Nicky, who does try to stay positive. At the Veto meeting, Beth decides to stay loyal to her partner in the game and the plan she agreed to earlier, using the PoV on Kris. Marie then puts Jenny up as a pawn alongside Nicky, who now understands that she has been Marie's target all along. Nicky lambasts Kris for choosing Beth as his HouseGuest's Choice for the PoV in the first place. Kris attempts to calm her down, feeling she is being too emotional about the situation. In a last ditch attempt to gain her safety, Nicky promises loyalty to Joe and Nina, and ensures that she will work with them against G², who she tells them are a much larger threat to their future in the game than she could ever be. Observing how close Jenny is to her alliance is enough to sway the undecided Joe and Nina, who give Nicky their votes to stay. Despite the effort she put into campaigning, Nicky is evicted as G²'s Kerri, Kris and Beth vote against her. Nicky leaves the house to the news that her game might not be over quite yet - she and her fellow jury members TK, Liz and Tim now have the chance to re-enter the house and continue their game.

Week 10
The jurors re-enter the house as a painstaking endurance comp begins. Nicky is the first to fall, followed by Tim. TK then slips, leaving Liz as the last juror standing. There's no time for Liz and her sister to celebrate, however, as the stressful HoH comp continues for a good few hours longer. Ultimately, Kerri comes out on top, making a deal with Joe not to nominate him. She initially considers sticking to her word, but she and her alliance decide that it would be best to target Joe and Liz this week, and risks both Joe and the twins turning against her in the process. This does in fact happen, and following the Veto meeting, the nominees and Marie secure their alliance (the Thunder Three has become the imaginatively-titled JLM). Nina, Marie and Kris are drawn to compete in the PoV comp with Kerri, Joe and Liz, a competition eventually won by Marie. Joe approaches Marie to ask her if she'd consider using the Veto on him, but she admits that he knows where her faithfulness lies, which he accepts. At the Veto meeting, Marie honours her blood bond by using it to save Liz. This decision puts Kerri in a sticky situation, as she now has to nominate one of her allies in the place of Liz. She gathers G² and suggests putting Nina up as a pawn, therefore ensuring Joe's eviction. However, she feels conflicted about doing so, as Nina has been loyal to her and she does not want to risk losing a number in the game if Nina does not take well to being put on the block to benefit G². Kris then puts himself forward, and with the alliance safe in the knowledge that they have the numbers to carry out this plan, Kerri agrees to nominate Kris. Joe appears to accept his fate for the remainder of the week, despite Liz and Marie promising to stay loyal to JLM. In the end, a vote of 3 to 2 sees Joe pack his bags and leave the Big Brother house.

Double Eviction
However, this is not it for the night. The HouseGuests have been speculating all week, and Julie gathers them once more to confirm that tonight is indeed a double eviction night. Everyone makes their way to the backyard, where an HoH comp revolving around the six pre-jurors takes place. It is Jenny who proves she has the greatest knowledge of her ex-HouseGuests, and she wins her first Head of Household title of the season. Aiming to target her alliance's rivals, she goes straight to nominating Marie and Liz. Jenny, Marie and Liz are joined by Nina, Kerri and Kris for the PoV comp, the latter of which comes out on top to win the Golden Power of Veto. Kris, honouring Jenny's wishes, decides not to use this Veto, leaving the twins on the block. At the vote, the house is unanimous in its decision to evict Marie, who then leaves the house for good.

Week 11
Fresh from his Veto win, Kris also goes on to win the next, quickfire HoH comp. He decides to be thorough in his thinking process when it comes to his nominations, and although his choice to target Liz was a fairly immediate one, he struggled with the fact that he would have to nominate an alliance member or a close friend. Eventually, the group decided that as someone who could be seen as an obvious target, Kris nominating Beth would fool Liz and put her off the scent in regards to the strength of this alliance in case Liz wins the Veto. After Beth puts her best acting skills to use at the nominations ceremony, Liz mulls over whether trying to cooperate with Kris to bargain for her safety would be worth it or not. She eventually decides not. All HouseGuests (Kris, Liz, Beth, Kerri, Nina and Jenny) compete in the PoV competition, in which Kerri emerges victorious. After much consultation with Kris, Jenny, Beth and Nina (who has been persuaded to become an official member of G²), they come up with a plan of Kerri using the Veto to save Beth and nominating Jenny in her place, as she agrees that she would be easiest to campaign against if Liz decides to do so, although they all promise that they will stick to the plan of voting Liz out nonetheless. Kerri follows through at the Veto meeting, saving Beth, with Jenny being put on the block in her place. Liz, like her fellow JLM alliance members, does not waste energy campaigning for her safety. On live eviction night, Beth, Nina and Kerri vote together and Liz is re-evicted with a 3-0 majority.

Week 12, Part 1
With just G² alliance members left, a crucial physical HoH sees Nina pull off a surprise win - her first of the series. Seen mainly as a floater throughout the game, Nina admits that she feels the pressure having to make a big move at a point at the game where it really matters. The other four HouseGuests attempt to make pleas and deals with her, and Nina takes time to consider her options. At the nominations ceremony, Nina nominates Kerri and Beth, admitting that her choices are nothing personal and are strictly game-related, as she considers these two the strongest players remaining. Kerri and Beth take this on the chin, but soon get to work to try and ensure their safety. Kris and Jenny both admit that if the nominations stay the same, they would be split as to which way to go. Nina, Kerri, Beth, Kris and Jenny all compete in the Veto comp, which is won by Beth. As expected, she used this PoV to save herself, leaving Nina in the position of picking a replacement nominee. After thinking things through, she asks Kris to take Beth's place on the block, as another strong threat in the game. Kerri and Kris both try to get both Jenny and Beth on their sides, but ultimately the two decide to stay loyal to the girls and choose to unanimously evict their ally Kris. And with that, the last man standing has left the building.

Week 12, Part 2
With the final three looming, the HouseGuests take part in a live HoH competition to determine who will secure their place in the finale night line-up. A true or false quiz results in Kerri coming out victorious - her third Head of Household title of the season - and having a guaranteed spot in the top three. Kerri, having reflected on the game with Nina, chooses to break a summer-long alliance by nominating Beth and Jenny. Whilst she feels regretful about having to do this, she feels going to the final two with Nina would be the best move for her going forward. Kerri, Beth, Jenny and Nina all compete in the final PoV comp of the season, in which Beth manages to pull off a victory and secure her safety, providing she uses the reward on herself. At the Veto meeting, Beth does indeed take herself off the block, with Kerri having no other choice than to nominate Nina in her place. Kerri sits down to speak with Beth, and manages to convince her that being against Nina in the final two would be more beneficial to her than if she were facing Jenny, who Kerri tells her the jury would admire for her active but less season-controlling game play. Beth takes note of this and, at the live eviction, casts the sole vote to evict Jenny, who leaves the house in high spirits. And so, we have the final three.

Finale
Having taken a look back at the season together, Beth, Kerri and Nina gear up for the first part of the final HoH comp. An overnight endurance competition, Nina falls first, leaving Beth and to fight it out. After promising a final two deal, Kerri persuades Beth to drop and save her energy for the second part of the competition, which she does accordingly. Beth and Nina then compete in a battle to face Kerri live in part three - a mental challenge which Nina wins by a whisker. Having each won a part of the task, Kerri and Nina each proceed to face another in part three, a head-to-head competition based around jury statements. Despite being deaf and not in any way able to even hear the statements, Nina wins the competition by a single point and wins the title of the final Head of Household of the season. Acknowledging the responsibility she now has, Nina ultimately decides to evict Kerri, believing she would fare better against the jury with Beth. Both Nina and Beth wish Kerri well, and she leaves the house to become the final member of the jury.

Beth and Nina let the occasion sink in, and then it's time for the jury questions. Content with the answers they received, the nine jury members - TK, Tim, Nicky, Joe, Marie, Liz, Kris, Jenny and Kerri - each cast their vote to win. Julie reveals the jury votes one-by-one, and we eventually find out that by a vote of 8-1 (with TK being the sole dissenter), Beth is the winner of Big Brother. Nina and Beth then leave the house, $50,000 and $500,000 richer respectively, before we find out that Jenny has been crowned America's Favourite, receiving $25,000 along with this title (the top three were completed by, er, Kerri and Kris, why not).

I know this isn't strictly Brant Steele-related but I posted yesterday about wanting them to do a proper BBUK simulator, e.g. BB13. Since that seems pretty unlikely, I did the next best thing - ran my own simulator-y thing, with random.org making all of the decisions (nominations, twists, who gets evicted and ultimately, who wins). Anyway, yeah, I did one with the BB17US cast just because the numbers were right and I don't want to tempt fate but it was kinda the best series ever? (I'll post it in a second and let you see for yourself)
