But I will say this: In our 31 seasons, we’ve never had a group that came into the game with such devotion to the game. They were in it from the moment their journey through Angkor Wat started. They were playing hard the minute they dove off the boat. They pulled off massive blindsides and shifted the strategy of the game. If you told me I could bring all 20 back again and do it again I would say yes. I absolutely enjoyed every single person and I thank them for what they gave. Survivor is an ass-kicking adventure and it is not for the faint of heart or those who are more comfortable on the couch. This group has waited a long time for this opportunity and I think you’ll agree that they deliver.

omg yes, Joe was one of my faves in Worlds Apart bc he was a decent human being (which was a rarity on his season!) who was subtly funny and kinda snarky and would just roll his eyes at all the idiots around him, but his edit is just so transparent this time around. We're supposed to all love him bc he invented hammocks or something? It's just frustrating bc we're not even getting a showcase of Joe's personality (which is a shame because I think he's fairly intelligent and articulate and I wouldn't mind hearing from him) and his edit has been reduced to a circlejerk of how amazing he is. That being said, he is NOT winning because of how hollow his edit is so if that's any consolation there ya go.

I also think Joe's extremely lucky that he was on the last season before a returnee vote because I don't think he's all that memorable nor will he have a lasting impact on the franchise. Like, someone of his demographic and look would never not get voted back (I'm sure some idiots voted for him thinking he was Malcolm or something), but he's largely benefiting from recency bias.

hmm that was my knee-jerk reaction because I'm so disappointed to see Peih-Gee go so early but realistically it's such a great cast that I'd be disappointed to see most of them go. For me personally this is the first boot this season where I'm sad to see someone voted out.

The only annoying thing for me was that it could've easily been a Savage or Tasha boot (sorry I love Tasha as well but Woo/Varner/Abi/Peih-Gee > her). Ultimately I think the twist that they had to start over screwed them over and unfortunately it was the best tribe that suffered the consequences.

Great episode, sadly ending the rivalry of PG and Abi.

Great game play on Tasha for outing Jeff, causing the distrust. Savage as the second man with Tasha for creating more distrust and animosity between PG and Abi. Jeff being stupid for silent talking to Kelly after the challenge and Abi for being too honest about her place in the alliance to Woo and PG. PG stupid for trusting Tasha and Savage too much.

Woo yet again totally out of the loop.

Tasha and Savage might regret their decision in the future though, since Abi is not to be trusted and PG was more reliable than her. For now Woo is toast if Angkor lose.

Like, it was funny to begin with, but Abi got so unnecessarily grouchy with her during their game talk. It just wasn't amusing, and this coming from someone who loves Abi.

Why is he good I just can't see it

I've said it before but in Cagayan he's just such a positive force who has no idea what's going on but is loving every second of it. Personal highlights include:

- #NinjaStealthMode, stealing Spencers idol clue and ruining his chances in the most unsubtle fashion :love:
- When he falls down the tree and nearly kills himself he's just like "but hey we got some fresh Papayas so life is good :bigsmile:"
- His almost sexual descriptions of the food in the Survivor auction "Yeah, get a fat dip of that guac :smug:"
- When Kass, Spencer and himself went to visit the local school kids and did karate and ****. :love:
- Not knowing what happens in a final 4 tie: ""If it's a tie in the final four... how does that work? Maybe we have to draw... o_O rocks?... o___O the jury?... O_O we fight for it?!"
- Comparing the final 5 to "the worst family possible" where he's the weird foreign exchange student
- His narration style and general delivery is just hilarious and so uniquely Woo.
- Apparently breaking into producers camp to steal water and food and popping his fellow castaways meds for the hell of it.

And this season he's so much more blunt and direct "Absolutely NOT :\" :love: and continuing the theme of constantly getting blindsided TWICE already.

He's just great positive energy added to Cagayan in the same way that Tasha was but with more personality and considerably less strategy.
