In comparison you have Stephen who started melting down unexpectedly mid-confessional (which is ironically something he'd probably make fun of on his blog) and he's very much nerdy-underdog done right because it's much more authentic.

There are no hard and fast alliances predetermining the game... Tribal councils are really hard to predict compared to other seasons. The cast was 80% great from the start. But instead of spending any time showing them, we are presented with confessional #162 from Spencer about Feelings or Andrew Savage still being the exact same jackass he was twelve years ago.

Basically, I was very optimistic about this season but it's clear that the editing team's MO is to devote a large amount of time to certain stories and certain players that I find extremely boring and tedious, and I only see it getting worse from here.

Kass’ Downfall

I suspect a fair amount of people have been eagerly awaiting this week’s edition of What You Didn’t See. The Survivor online community has been rife with speculation about what truly happened between Kass and Tasha. Blow-ups on the beach? Tension-filled tribal council? Accusations of racism? There are all sorts of rumours doing the rounds.

That preamble is unfortunately not leading to a grand explanation. Not because I want to tease or withhold information but because of the sensitive subject matter. Yes, an incident took place between Kass and Tasha that involved racial issues. Yes, this was a huge topic at tribal council and was the reason why both Kass and Tasha seemed so pent-up and intense. But without knowing all the facts or speaking to those directly involved, I am choosing not to go into the issue any further.

Probst Forgets About the Jury

Perhaps a little shaken after the intense tribal council, Jeff Probst forgot a rather important part of the vote-off. When he read out the votes and revealed that Kass was the seventh person voted out, he forgot to inform her and the rest of the tribe that she was the first member of the jury. Members of the production team had to chase Kass down and let her know that she was in fact on the jury. The rest of the tribe were informed after that night’s tribal council while having their microphones removed before heading back into camp.

Yes, this means that Jeff Probst had to re-record the vote reveal with the jury line included after the event, and it was edited into the episode. Meaning that Tasha’s “surprised” reaction wasn’t actually in relation to the jury news.

The Merged Tribe Name

Last week we revealed the merged tribe name: Orkun. But which castaway came up with the name? It took the tribe days to finally settle on a name that both they and production were satisfied with (production can nix any name they don’t like or deem inappropriate). Ideas ranged from yoga terms, to names of animals, plants and snakes taken from the production provided safety book.

Finally they settled on Orkun, which was suggested by Kimmi, the Khmer word for “thank you”, as a gesture to all the fans that voted them back onto the season. This moment can be seen in this secret scene provided by CBS.

I think they didn't split the vote because they definitely wanted Wentworth out and they didn't think she had an idol (if you look at Jeremy's secret scene you can see him saying this). If they split the vote it would have been easier for Wentworth to sway a few and stay :shrug:

Kelley's idol play really wasn't as spectacular as it was made out to be. Joe told Ciera that Kelley was going to be the one voted out so obviously if you know you are the one being targeted of course you're going to play your idol. It was just moronic on the othersides part to not split the votes. That being said I won't miss Savage at all but they probably should have chosen someone who's better at the game then Savage was.

I don´t think the girls alliance will happen, they would need at least Tasha and Kelly for that to happen.

Tasha is loyal to Jeremy and Kelly is an old school player, meaning stick with your alliance until the end. That would leave Kimmi and i don´t think she will go for it if Tasha and Kelly both won´t.

The witches coven probably only means the three girls that are on the bottom ie: Abi, Ciera and Kelley.
