Everybody's season predictions on page 1 please
Title Winner: Chelsea
Champions League Spots: Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool
Surprise Package: Bournemouth. Play some good football and have got more than enough to finish towards the top of the bottom half.
Largest Drop from Last Season: Leicester. 14th last season, they are going down this season after losing Cambiasso and appointing Ranieri.
Relegated: Leicester, Norwich, Villa.

Newcastle, Don't you dare put me through the ringer like you did last year
Shaun
29-07-2015, 10:58 PM
Title Winner: United
Champions League Spots: Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal, City
Surprise Package: Villa. Time for Big Tim to become a hero and guide them to an amazing ninth.
Largest Drop from Last Season: probably Leicester yeah but I feel like being ~different~ and saying Newcastle
Relegated: Norwich, Newcastle and Leicester
Brother Leon
30-07-2015, 01:06 AM
Title Winners: Chelsea
Top 4 in order: Chelsea,United,Arsenal,City(they most likely aren't done in the window yet, but as is)
Relegation: Leicester,One of the promoted teams,Norwich.
Stoke will be the surprise package and over achieve.
Mystic Mock
30-07-2015, 01:11 AM
Title Winners: Man Utd
Top 4: Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal
Surprise Package: I'm saying Bournemouth, they're a decent side who can play on the floor.
Largest Drop From Last Season: I'm saying Crystal Palace.
Relegation: Watford, Sunderland, Aston Villa
Babayaro.
30-07-2015, 12:29 PM
Title Winner: Chelsea
Champions League spots (In order): Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City
Surprise package: Crystal Palace
Largest drop from last season: Swansea. Came 8th last season and can see them finishing around 12th/13th this year
Relegated: Watford, Norwich, Leicester
Ryan57
30-07-2015, 02:36 PM
Based on current squads:
Title Winner: Chelsea
Champions League Spots (in order): Chelsea, City, Arsenal and United.
Surprise Package: Stoke City.
Largest Drop from Last Season: Southampton if they get through to the Europa League group stage.
Relegated: Bournemouth, Norwich and Watford. Or Villa.
By the way, United have absolutely no chance of winning a single thing with the current defence. We'll scrape top four at best. Let alone the title. Check out the defending against PSG last night which further reinforces how the defence isn't good enough. It's looking like Van Gaal is favouring Jones and Blind at centre back...
Add to that we might still lose De Gea. He's probably desperate to leave. Poor bastard having Jones and Blind infront of him.
Drew.
01-08-2015, 12:30 PM
Title Winner: Arsenal
Champions League Spots: Arsenal, Chelsea, United, City
Surprise Package: Watford.. Strongest team originally from the promoted sides and have strengthened the most this summer
Largest Drop from Last Season: West Brom, Mid table club usually but with any luck they'll be hovering about the relegation zone this season
Relegated: Bournemouth, West Brom & Norwich

So the reason Jake Livermore took cocaine was, unfortunately, due to losing a child. :(
'The awful circumstances leave the FA facing a difficult moral dilemma given the seriousness of the case involving the England international footballer.
But there is a precedent that could allow a degree of leniency if it is established by an FA commission that Livermore was suffering some form of psychological distress at the time of his indiscretion.'

I think we need Can starting against arsenal and firmino replacing lallana and Ibe. I feel Ibe would have more impact on the game if he came on after like 70 minutes. He would give us the speed. What did you think of Moreno tonight Locke?

Looked good when he came on, hopefully we keep using him as an attacking player because he's shown a few times now that he can beat pretty much any player but isn't good enough at defending. If we're doing that it pushes Markovic even further down the pecking order though, guy really needs a loan move

West Ham are terrible, Arsenal only lost to them because they're not natural at finishing.
Imo this season is a battle between Man City, Liverpool, and Man Utd to win the league if it's anything to go by so far.
Although if Arsenal win tomorrows game then they're dark horses to take it, it'll be their last chance to take an opening though I feel.

After his shocker against West Ham he now owes us twelve points having given them the win. He cost us three points against West Ham and kept us in this game I reckon he's on -2 so far.:joker:
Still not great considering he's was the big answer to our problem. So I'd hold of on posting pics of him still in his Chelsea strip till he at least breaks even. Do you want to keep tabs?
I am extremely confident he'll be a success for you. Although, I don't really expect a title challenge from you.

City or Chelsea for the title. If United are anything to go by so far it's same sh1t, different season. A battle with Liverpool for fourth ensues.
Chelsea look shaky to me, if they bag 2nd then they'll be a distant 2nd as they have been poor so far this season.

Indeed, they've not been great. But they have Jose as manager. At the start of the season I thought Chelsea would win it, but I'm thinking City now. It's early, but they have the bit between their teeth again.

Terrible match by our standards, capable of much better. Whilst Liverpool are celebrating one of their best performances in recent times coming away with a 0-0 result against a side playing at 50% what they're capable of.. nothing to worry about just yet.

Same old, typical performance under Rodgers. I really do like the guy and want it to work out for him here but we are just as bad now as the day he took over. We are not creating chances at all, couple that with having the worst central defender I have ever witnessed playing in a Liverpool shirt and you are just asking for disappointment. Went into the second half knowing that we needed to score at least 2 goals to come out of the game with a point and we only managed to have a single shot on target, which was Lovren from 40 yards out. We've scored 2 goals in 4 games, one of those was a freak moment of magic goal by Coutinho and the other was offside. Benteke is getting 0 service, he's doing well with the ball at his feet but he's got no chance of scoring consistently if we continue this way, even when it comes to corners since we signed him I think only 2 or 3 have gone into the box, the rest have been taken short (and then ****ed up). Coutinho really is the only player we have that looks capable of creating a goal scoring opportunity, so we have no chance of scoring a goal at Old Trafford.
But yeah, both sides started quick today and it was West Ham that got the break. At that point we are still in it, but Lovren refusing to take any of the 3 or 4 opportunities to clear the ball and gifting them a second ended the game, Milner was the only one that didn't disappear.

The football was torrid last season, but there was a lot of upheaval. New country for him and new players, the disaster of the season prior and tons of injuries. I'd also say that the players didn't fit his supposed 'philosophy'. He just about got a reprieve due to finishing fourth, which was the target, although we should of been higher had he not fecked up. Still, the football should of been far better.
This summer looked to of started brightly, but its gone down hill very quickly. His methods make zero sense. Last season seemed like he didn't understand English football and it's still going on. Perhaps he's just past it. I'm sick of his methods now.
I detested Moyes' tenure, but I won't be biased. Van Gaal has spent way more than him and is delivering pathetic football. It's totally unacceptable.
I thought he'd be a success given his prior achievements and great style of play down the years. I at least expected the latter. I don't see him winning anything and nor do I see him delivering great football.

Losing away to City/Chelsea/Arsenal/Utd is never the worst thing in the world because they're generally the most difficult grounds to go to but the one thing you have to ask for is some heart and desire from the team and what we produced today was an absolute joke.
Rodgers had a vision for how football should be played when he was appointed and there is no way he would have sent out a team to play the way we did in that first half when he was given the job, guys lost faith in his own ability as much as us fans have. He should hand his resignation in first thing monday morning, failing that FSG just need to pull the trigger. We're into our fourth season and we're currently about level with the team he inherited from Kenny. We're not an attacking team because we don't attack or score many goals, we're not a defensive team because we concede a bucket load, we're not a possession based team because we don't keep the ball well, we're not a counter attacking team because we have very little pace in the side now.. There is no identity at all.
Great goal from Benteke, if we can get someone in asap that will build an attacking team around a partnership of him and Sturridge then I'll be feeling confident about challenging for fourth still.
Drew.

AMazing news about Liverpool. Not sure if that was a good decison if they dont get Ancelotti or Klopp.
Great game from us. I thought Man Utd would put up more of a fight. I dont think Van Gaal can get away with too many performance like that or he'll be next to go.
I doubt Van Hoof will get sacked. We're a huge club but act like a small club when it comes to managers. His job was safe last season if he didn't finish in the top four, despite spending a shed load.
Also let's not forget David Moyes was only sacked in April 2014 when every other top team in Europe would of sacked him way before then.
And some fans are up his arse for some reason unbeknownst to me.
Drew.

Them Fergie years got to people  I'm hardly shocked. Liverpool are pretty much the harmless old lady everyone feels sorry for...unless they call your players Negro and accuse you of singing about dead people every game :idc:

Always liked Man City though. Just wish they had developed to a top team naturally, not with a massive sum of money they got from Sheikh Mansour from Abu Dhabi.
But then again Chelsea did the same thing, but with a Russian Oligarch named Abramovich.
Mixed Chelsea and City up there for a moment.
