Well that was the best episode of the season so far

I was a bit 'errr :umm2:' when both tribes came to tribal together but Vavau's reactions to Saanapu's messiness was literally me so it was all worth it :joker: there's like a hundred reaction gifs that could've been created from that alone

Didn't see either of the twists coming :o but I'm glad they did cause I was worried for Nick and I'd rather Flick have actually been voted out (if she had, obvs)

Also the thing I forgot to mention from the last episode was I liked how we got to see them strategising at the challenge, a novelty we rarely get <3

Well done Nick!

Really sick of what is an anti-Nick edit with the parade of confessionals we get. Apparently he doesn't play an 'honest game' and others do, apparently he doesn't have a good social game and apparently Brooke doesn't like how his face looks (I really dislike her). Survivor is a game, if you are at the bottom you have to scramble. He helped the tribe, and he made good arguments at tribal.

The REAL story I believe, which was not shown in the edit and not even recognised by the presenter/host at tribal (even though it was staring him in the face), was that it's a tribe largely made up of women. That's the real reason I believe Nick was on the outside compared to Tegan.

VILE @ Craig getting the idol clue, he's easily my least fave contestant in the game.

That ep was a bit of a mess, nothing really happened and I didn't like how the tribe swaps weren't entirely random since Saanapu clearly have a huge advantage now picking all the strong players to join them. And I'd rather it been another hour plus episode rather than a shorter one with no tribal.

Episode 6:
The fact that they use the same beach for every challenge. <3 Cheap bastards

That was such a good immunity challenge! From Saanapu giving zero ****s and just cheering on Aganoa to Barry’s “are you serious?” to the final shot of the rope burning... yeah, well done to everyone involved in that

Not nearly enough Kat, Rohan and Phoebe this ep (in fact, I think Lee and not-so-Krazy Kristie were the only two with substantial airtime, which is not a good thing)

I don’t really have much else to say about this episode except a) stop calling it a merge, it’s not a merge and b) don’t take my Rohan (or Kat) (or Phoebe) (or literally anyone from Aganoa on Vavau) (or anyone from Vavau on Vavau) (tbh)

Other than that, I take back what I said about Jennah Louise's confusing amount of airtime and I'd like Nick to leave my sig immediately, plus I hope the napkin that Craig was handed was something for him to cover his crack with

Giving away his entire tribe's secrets and tribal history, accidentally telling the majority alliance that he has an idol, inadvertently voting himself out of the game and being idol'd out by his own idol in the space of an hour :joker: Icon tbh (it's just my luck that the four targets at tribal would be my four favourites, isn't it?)

I'm still kinda rooting for Kat and Kristie but Phoebe also needs to come thru fairly soon and not become the Shelli to Rohan's Clay, which the edit very much implies will happen

Well that...was a ****ing mess. Twenty fantastic minutes of television nonetheless, but a tragic ending.

This ep had an Andrew blindside written all over it, I thought they were setting him up for an almighty fall as soon as the endless confessionals about people 'stepping out of line' (soz Adolf) culminated in Phoebe finding the idol (YAY :love:), so I'm surprised! That said, Kat was awful and I'm pretty ambivalent towards him so idc about the result

These tribals are honestly some of my favourite ever, each one has me like: :think: :suspect: :umm2: :joker: :omgno: D:

A few other things:

Andrew appearing out of nowhere all the time ffs :joker:

Kat being one of the reasons they lost the challenge after she was lauding Rohan's departure :rolleyes:

So happy hes out, he's just awful. Hopefully Conner will follow him out next from that tribe, hes just a sheep, and Sue is a bit of a disappointment also - she may be next as shes so weak.

The final 15 now and I feel like I know all the contestants and they've all had air time. The show being longer has meant I've got to know people better which I really like actually.

I want the other tribe to start losing now, and Jennah-Louise has had a week or so to form relationships and has had an opportunity to shake things up so it could all still be in the air. I don't want the merge to just be an annihilation of one tribe

The boot order has been pretty good imo
Rohan and Kat will be missed personally, but the rest have either been deadweight or super annoying

The reward challenge was cool :love: I'm liking a lot of the challenges actually, they've obviously taken inspiration from the recurring ones in the US but with new tweaks that have been pretty good

Andrew's ridiculous confessionals were making me laugh tbh :joker: they were so OTT, I didn't really care who went out of the viable options cause Kristie is a non-entity and I'm ambivalent towards Kate and Andrew but hey it was a good blindside so yay

There's a parade of schemers who have eliminated this series. Andrew seemed to be set up by the edit rather strongly and so it proved. He lacked any charisma that a great villain would have. Kristie seems quite useless to me, we haven't really been given much insight into her mindset, such as why she voted with Kat to get rid of Rohan for instance.

Was it really that big a blindside anyway, he knew his name was getting thrown around


The challenges I think are lifted pretty much straight from the US ones, though I don't mind as they are good. They are nearly completely physical recently though, maybe the mental shouldn't be ignored.

yasss :flutter: ta ra Andrew you arsewipe. This season is back on track (to be better than, like, two thirds of US seasons, at least) now. I was sure Andrew would be sticking around for a while longer because he'd been hyped up as one of the "biggest villains ever" or w/e, so to see his power trip last all of two episodes was rather amusing

Kate and her gong surviving despite me being convinced otherwise <3 Super strength Sue-nami (until she voted with Andrew, that is) <3 Phoebe still having her idol <3 and Craig not having it <3

I've not much to say about Saanapu, except that Sam's voice is annoying the **** out of me and I guess that the majority alliance being ripped apart by a chicken is a fun little plot twist to this boring ass tribe. I liked the reward challenge as well, even though it probably needed a Randy Bailey cameo or two

There's quite a lot of deadwood still in this season for me, so not wholly with the boot order. More episodes is good but 3 days in a row hampers show discussion to put it mildly. It's not Big Brother, more happens in each episode and the channel showing it should realise that.

The episode lengths seem to vary, earlier on they were pushing 75 minutes but the latest ones were around 48-58 mins

I think what they did by voting together was the better move tbh, if they'd let the 4 person alliance decide then they'd just vote off whoever was on the bottom of their alliance and the strongest 3 would still outnumber them next round. Whether they come in the form of twists or something like the tribe dissolve ep is another matter though

Sure, the whole “good guys” thing is a bit sanctimonious, but it’s Kate, who's just come from the back of a less successful Ulong into a tribe who have all made friendship bracelets for each other and are afraid to go back on their word because of "mateship" or some bull**** so it’s deserved? I like the symbolism of the pink bands for the… erm, not-good guys, though, so that’s something - largely because it adds to the subtext that Lee is a massive gayer
d) Kate not even making jury is a tragedy which can only be made up for by a Kristie/Sue-nami top two

Ugh these 2 girls ( Kristie and Flick) are annoying me now, Obviously Lee didn't have any trust in them thus why he played his advantage and yet they still voted out same? Logic hey.
Speaking of Lee i actual hate him purely because the way he talks to Kristie in a condecening manner. And his whole its not about winning BS we keep getting yet when he was with El he was talking about how he or her will win the game?

I enjoyed Kristie choosing herself as the most deserving to win :joker: (or whatever it was), and... err... that was about it. The first episode was a waste of time, I was falling asleep and skipping bits during the second... I'm glad Sam went, but this post-merge has dragged and the contrast to the incredible pre-merge (or at least, pre-tribe dissolve) is growing ever noticeable.
