According to a new report from Sports Illustrated, the current plan is to feature two Women’s Championship matches at this year’s WrestleMania, where Nia Jax will take on Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Title, while Asuka will go on to challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Title.

As it was previously reported, the current plans for Ronda Rousey call for her to be involved in a Mixed Tag Team match to take on the team of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, which was teased all the way back at WrestleMania 31 in 2015 when Rousey and The Rock faced-off against them during an in-ring confrontation.

According to Sports Illustrated’s report, the four names that the WWE has in mind for Rousey’s partner are, in order of preference, including The Rock, Kurt Angle, Shane McMahon, and Seth Rollins.

While The Rock is at the top of WWE’s list, there is concern that his busy schedule and movie contracts will prevent him from competing in the match. If The Rock is unable to make to WrestleMania, Angle is said to be the likely Superstar who lands the spot.

Shane McMahon is another possibility as Rousey’s partner, but he is involved in a prolonged storyline with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Meanwhile, Rollins, who currently has no clear direction for WrestleMania, squared off against Triple H at last year’s event.

There's also plans for a women's BR similar to the Andre Memorial Battle Royal for the pre-show too.

According to Cageside Seats, it’s being reported that fans can expect four women’s matches [at Wrestlemania] and possibly another historic match on the pre-show.

Sunday began setting the stage for Ronda Rousey’s big PPV debut, all but confirming that she’ll be taking part in a mixed tag match with a partner, who’s more than likely Kurt Angle, to face Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Sasha Banks began to betray Bayley in earnest during Sunday’s Elimination Chamber. On Monday during a six-woman tag Bayley retaliated by refusing to be tagged in when Banks needed her help. The beginnings of their feud have extended to twitter where Sasha has been hinting at dropping “fake friends” and Bayley has cropped Sasha out of photos.

WWE may trout out another “historic moment” for the women during the preshow. It’s been rumored that in addition to the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, the women’s division would be getting their own time to shine during a battle Royal type match.

I went to that Indy show with Molly Holly and The Hurricane.

There were a bunch of no names on the show but since it was mainly local guys. One heel has a high school jock gimmick named JC Slater and came out to the Saved by the Bell theme.

Someone I knew from High School was booked as well, probably the best wrestler on the card except he whispered yelled "Super Dragon" when he hit a curb stomp for the win. (He usually wrestles as a heel it seems but since this was in his hometown, he wrestled face)

One tag team named the American Bulldogs had a black guy wear a pretty cool Black Wrestlers Matter shirt with Don't Shoot on the back.

The Hurricane won in the main event and probably became the promotion's first champ over Rory Fox. (They said the title was vacant but until they showed up on my FB page I didn't recognize the promotion)

Molly Holly didn't wrestle or manage Hurricane that night but did show up at intermission in her Mighty Molly outfit and wearing a long haired blonde wig

Over the years, various female wrestlers have come forward with stories accusing Ellison (Moolah) of being a pimp that often provided various wrestling promoters with unsuspecting female wrestlers that would be used as sex objects. One of the most notorious accusations is from the family of Sweet Georgia Brown (Susie Mae McCoy). McCoy, who was trained and booked by Ellison and her then-husband Buddy Lee, told her daughter that she was often raped, given drugs and made an addict in an intentional attempt by Ellison and Lee to control her. Ida Martinez, who wrestled during the 1960s, also recalls that many of the regional promoters “demanded personal services” before they would pay the female wrestlers. In a 2002 interview, Luna Vachon claimed that when she was sixteen years old and training at Ellison's camp, Ellison sent her out of state to be photographed by an older man. Although she remained clothed during the photo shoot, Vachon stated she felt taken advantage of by Ellison and the older man. Vachon also stated that her aunt, Vivian Vachon, witnessed Ellison abusing alcohol and having sex with her female trainees. Sandy Parker, a lesbian former pupil of Ellison's, also claims that Ellison forbade her from going to any gay bars and tried to press her to date men. Parker says this enranged her, because "(Moolah) was two faced because she had her own little dalliances that we all knew about."

However, Wendi Richter stated that Ellison did not actually train the wrestlers at her wrestling school. Instead, Richter stated that Ellison accepted payment of the training fee (which at the time of Richter's training was five hundred dollars) and had other female wrestlers within her camp (including Leilani Kai, Judy Martin, Winona Littleheart, and Joyce Grable) train the new recruits, and that these women did not get paid for their additional work as trainers. Richter also stated that Ellison required all women that received training at her camp to each sign a contract that allowed Ellison to function as their booker and receive twenty five percent of their booking fee. Trainees were also required to rent duplex apartments on Ellison's property and they were responsible for paying her for rent and utilities. The training lasted six months and took place up to five hours per day inside a wrestling ring in a barn that lacked heating and air conditioning or fans. Debbie Johnson, another former trainee of Ellison's, stated that she was required to give Ellison thirty percent of her booking fee, and her paycheck was further reduced as Ellison deducted travel expenses, food, rent, and utilities before paying her. As a result, Johnson worked for Ellison for two years before she received any money. Johnson stated that Ellison would refuse to book certain women in her training camp if they angered her, and that Ellison monitored her and refused to let her leave the physical constraints of the training camp unless she was accompanied by someone else

As well as allegedly exploiting female wrestlers sexually, Ellison has been accused of using her financial influence to control the women's wrestling scene and ensure that other women did not gain greater recognition. In addition to being a key participant in the original screwjob on Wendi Richter, Ellison used her influence to take over the spot originally held by her protégé Mad Maxine on the animated series Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling. Maxine was about to receive a big push by Vince McMahon but left the WWF shortly afterwards, as Ellison was unwilling to provide her with additional bookings. Numerous other former trainees defected from Ellison after growing tired of sharing their paychecks with Ellison. Women wrestlers including Vivian and Luna Vachon, Ann Casey, and Darling Dagmar moved into other regions where Ellison had less control and negotiated their own payouts with promoters.

Both Judy Martin and Leilani Kai told in later interviews that Moolah would collect the women wrestler's pay from promoters, and after taking out her own pay, would only give the girls half of the money they were owed (keeping half of their pay for herself, plus her own pay) and telling them that was all the promoter gave her to give them. Martin stated that shortly before Ellison left the WWF in 1988 (shortly after falling out with Martin and Kai due to Ellison no longer receiving their booking fees), she sabotaged the duo while they were touring Japan. Martin stated that Ellison contacted Japanese promoters and informed them that the Jumping Bomb Angels were supposed to drop the WWF Women's Tag Team Championship to The Glamour Girls before Martin and Kai returned to the United States. This was contrary to the booking decision made by Pat Patterson before the Japanese tour began. Unable to reach Patterson by telephone, Kai and Martin agreed to win the titles from the Angels since Ellison had already misinformed the Japanese promoters. Martin stated that upon returning to the United States, Patterson was angry with them and confirmed that nobody within the WWF made the decision for the title change and that due to her long-standing relationship with the company, the WWF refused to listen to their explanation of Ellison's deceit. Shortly thereafter, the WWF phased out the WWF Women's Tag Team Championship. In a later shoot interview, Leilani Kai told that had things gone as the WWF originally planned, The Glamour Girls would have had a title match against the Jumping Bomb Angels at Wrestlemania IV and that Ellison's actions had cost the four girls what would have been ultimately their biggest ever payday.

- Sage asked for her release to pursue a career in broadcasting. There were plans for her to become a full-time commentator recently but they fell through. I guess she'd just had enough of an in-ring career.

- Abbey got released because of backstage heat/attitude problems. She apparently had issues with most of the girls at the Performance Centre, every girl that had house-shared with her since she was signed has since moved from her. Even her long-time BFF Ruby Riott distanced herself in the end. This seems to be a big factor in her release though:

The details are that when Nixon Newell injured her ACL, Abbey was supposed to be her coach in helping her heal, to which I'm guessing didn't sit well with her. So they instead called Kay Lee Ray in to do the job.

To make things worse, she apparently showed jealousy in Mandy, Sonya, & The Riott Squad for being called up, especially Ruby since they were the closest of friends, which unfortunately lead to Ruby distancing herself from Abbey.

As noted by Matt Hardy earlier this week, he and Bray Wyatt were set to face-off in an Ultimate Deletion Match at the Hardy Family Compound.

Apparently, the match was shot on Thursday, March 8th, at the Hardy Family Compound in Cameron, North Carolina, with referee Shawn Bennett officiating the matchup. As of this time, it’s unclear as to which other WWE talents were called up to partake in the filming of the Ultimate Deletion Match.

Furthermore, it’s being noted that longtime TNA/Impact Wrestling executive and current WWE employee Jeremy Borash was also present at the Hardy Family Compound—contributing to the proceedings. Jeff Hardy Arrested For DWI

According to the arrest report obtained by CBS Sports, Hardy was driving northbound on Concord Parkway when he allegedly “ran off the roadway … striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the back end of the car spun out 90 degrees … coming to rest in the middle of the right [north]bound lane of travel.” It was estimated by police on the scene that Hardy did $8,000 of damage to his 2016 Cadillac and $5,000 to the guardrail itself.
It is unknown whether Hardy suffered any injuries as result of the accident, but it does not appear as if he was transported to a hospital as he was released from jail shortly after being booked.
