And Demetres is probably the biggest surprise for me this season. I really didn't like him at all in the beginning and I remember wanting him out over Mark in the first eviction but he's grown on me so much over the last few weeks and he's on the right side of the house and against the awful people.

Because Sindy isn't being bullied by Neda. It was a joke that went too far. Neda felt terrible when she realized she had hurt Sindy's feelings and she apologized and she and Sindy are still friends.

The edit is so tedious much of the time, unfortunately I don't have the time to find a way to watch and then watch the feed. The latest episode was pretty boring, at least we got the HoH result this time, but the competition was yet another memory one that nobody in the audience would know or care about.

Sick of hearing and seeing Ika in the episodes, it's as if she's supposed to be the barometer by which we judge everything. At least the editors left in the comment about someone being the 'villain' in the storyline, just to show how silly this is. How can you do a simple storyline for an event which is live and which can change from the expected direction?

The best parts of the week were really the surprise elements which have been overdone on the UK one. First getting them to do nominations and then showing the results in detail. Though some talked about them before the reveal anyway which probably ruined much suspense. The slop twist was ok along the same lines, a typical way to stir up the house.

Gary gone, good. Now please get Ika out, I can't take much more of her. I want to see other people in the house, this is Big Brother and not The Ika Show like the editors think.

So just caught up on everything:

- I have loved Ika so far this season BUT it feels like she takes up at least 50% of the airtime each episode now.
- I'm getting flashbacks to how Ika treated Heather with how she's treating Jackie and it's not a good look. Gotta say I find it pretty ironic that Jackie is playing a "victim" while Neda makes a bit of fun of Sindy and everyone is buying into it even though Ika is treating Jackie much worse.
- Neda's edit is SAVAGE and I'm kinda enjoying it lmao. Still obsessed with Cassandra :love:
- Karen is honestly such an angel and her friendship with Gary has been so beautiful. :love:
- William HoH yaaaaaaaaaas. I love that he's a comp beast.

Well this was a miserable week of episodes to endure

The Six/majority side of the house are insufferable. They're season ruiners and none of them are at all interesting :rolleyes:

The slop vote was gross, I actually felt really bad for Gary and all of them laughing at him was really unnecessary and uncomfortable? I don't see what he's supposed to have done wrong, I don't even think the comment he made about Neda was that bad either. Even people he was supposed to get on with like Dre and William voted for him so I'm not surprised he reacted badly to being ostracised, oh and Sindy came across like a (boring) bitch too.

Bruno is simply pathetic, the fact Neda and co are enabling his path to victory sickens me. Talking of Neda, after her 'suck up' comment to Gary I'm pretty much done with her, I love a bitch (see: Ika, who has been giving me LIFE these last three episodes :love:) but she's ruining the season and not being funny with it in the process. Karen nailed it in her confessional about her.

Demetres/Ika made a dumb move again, they're going to be targets within the next two weeks whereas if they'd kept Gary he'd have been a shield. I'm a little tired of the 'we hate The Six! Let's make a move!' *sticks with The Six*, hopefully something changes cause Ika is literally the only houseguest I'm interested in now...if she goes :umm2:

Anyway, I thought the Instant Eviction was bad and unfair, but this is without a doubt the worst ever twist this side of the Atlantic. Dallas-Cass-Gary is indisputably the worst eviction order of all time (and proof that you should never celebrate the eviction of one of only a few characters!) and this season is an absolute disaster. Big Brother Canada has not yet had a "bad" season, but I think this is it.

I saw the apology and it was sincere. Sindy also said she overreacted and Neda didn't actually insult Sindy. The other houseguests did that and they weren't really insults.

The houseguests all forgive each other and have a "what happens in the house stays in the house" attitude. They all defend each other because they all know how difficult the experience is of being watched 24/7 while in seclusion with 16 strangers and no TV or music or even books.

The edit feels really annoying. I never like mastermind edits anyway, and the Canadian version just copies the American one in doing that. When someone is forced down your throat it gets annoying, and I never liked Ika in the first place anyway.

That's true, but being a 'good player' doesn't stop at winning the game, I think there's something to be said for making it to F4/3/2 in a lot of cases. Don't forget the reason they're taken out at the last hurdle is because they're considered too big a threat in a jury vote. What you're saying is true of course but does that mean you concede Dan lost BB14 through his own faults?

I'm not saying it's not good for her, as Neda was quoted as saying the other day she's doing what she has to do to win $100k even if that means taking out fan favourites. That's fine, I understand that and would probably be the same. But it doesn't make her or someone in a similar position entertaining, worthy of automatic support or change the fact that they're either ruining or not helping to make the season very interesting to watch as a viewer

I like good gameplay, but if it's not fun to watch then what's the point? Big Brother is still at its heart a show about personalities

Lets not pretend Nicole deserved to win. It was a 5-4 super close vote, that engineered for her to win after being desperate for vet or a female [both at once] to win. They get people to talk to the jury about who is deserving, theres no way Da'Vonne would vote Nicole over Paul, when she stated Paul to win over anyone and if paul makes the final 2 he has her vote no matter who he is against.

Nicole got very lucky with production, the same can be said from Rachel BB13USA and Jordan BB11USA.

Neda/Sindy/Bruno [and even Ika despite being great TV] have single handedly ruined this season with their boring gameplay getting rid of the good guys and entertaining people.

The only thing I can compare it too is the Chop shop running the whole season of BBUS3 but getting rid of Britneee/Sarah/Godfrey and then getting their way with the duds and The First 5 ruling all of season 2, getting rid of Heather/Jon/Adel and getting their way with duds

True, I mean I never got the adoration the first time around cause she only had one good week but this time she's just a complete irrelevance

And yeah, this is BBCan's first 'bad' season. I'm willing to give it a chance to improve (and I never quit watching things once I've started), but I'm struggling to see how it can. Say what you want about BB4 but at this point we still had Nikki, we still had Tim, we still had Cass, we still had Dallas, we still had Loveita, we still had the brothers and we still had Jared (even if I couldn't stand them both).

At the same point this season the only houseguests I actually find interesting are Ika and Karen, I don't actually actively dislike anyone this time around like I did last year because instead, I don't actually care about most of them. And that's not a good thing. I'd rather have an opinion - good or bad - on someone, than none at all. And the majority of this cast are just irrelevant, nothing characters. It's a disaster.

I'm not denying she still has some fans left, she just has way more haters than fans. I'd say she is similar than Frankie Grande -- He had fans and supporters, albiet fewer than the 'popular' housemates Donny/Zack/Nicole/Derrick but about 3x as many haters, making him a 'hated figure', much alike Neda.

To deny Neda isn't one of the most hated BBCAN5 figures if you're actually on social media is completely ridiculous.

As you already said when BBUSA is running it gets about 5x or something more votes, which is very similar to the percentages of the site having around 5x more USA viewers - therefore indicating that the vote is wholely canadian, as otherwise if all those americans were still voting on jokers BBCAN, It'd have the SAME number of votes as BBUSA. Caught up on eps 12 & 13.
Kevin continues to reach new levels of disgustingness, such a sleaze he's unwatchable. Karen is still consistently entertaining :love: and Sindy keeps improving for me.

I found it interesting how little we saw of Neda these episode, I wonder if she was quieter because of the reaction to her during the HoH task, if she's worried about her popularity.

Dillon was such a baby about being nominated. I didn't like him that much anyway but I kind of lost any respect I had for him during these eps. Emily's tragic too though so I don't care who goes :laugh: At least it'll be a decent eviction unlike the last couple.

Yeah she's been growing on me episode by episode (never saw her previous series), I wouldn't call her boring at all. She isn't being shown that much but when she is she's really watchable/likeable imo and she obviously has a big personality, and I also think she's playing a really good game.
