Lauren Oakley added: “I’ve grown up watching Strictly, always hoping that one day I could be part of the best show on television, doing what I love the most. Now that it’s happening, it doesn’t quite seem real. I can’t wait to start this new sequined adventure and join this incredible family.”
Carlos Gu said: “I’m thrilled to join Strictly and very excited to get started. It’s a new chapter of my life and a new challenge as well. I’m absolutely ready to take on this journey and to shine.”
And Michelle Tsiakkas commented: “Being a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing has been my dream ever since I was a little girl. I cannot believe my dream has come true! 17th
well umm i myself would not postpone, but i would last minute edit the launch show prerecorded broadcast, near the end a lovely video message from all judges, hosts, dancers saying something nice in tribute of the queen
and i'd invite Charles, Camilla definitely for November 19th for the Blackpool week, and a nice tribute to the queen opening group number maybe, especially over there in blackpool tower is most fitting, because of huge ballroom floor and they are good at creating magic moments there
also something what could be nice, is if they ask what some of the queen's favourite music was, and maybe a special week in honour of the queen, the couples dancing to those songs
this 20th series was going to be an emotional one nevertheless, with already the big tribute to 100 years of british television theme tunes, but they can do something extra beautiful for their biggest fans of the show as well i think

I think it will be postponed. But I don't mind, we can wait.
some are saying it could be postponed until Friday 23rd and week 1 as normal on saturday 24th
because launch show is a prerecorded thing so you can of course do it like that, and have rehearsals for week 1 as normal up to the 24th
and by then i also agree with those people, that most might be wanting some strictly sparkle even more than ever in their lives again, but then when its live Tess, Claudia will have to say something in beginning of the broadcast like ''last night you saw our couples paired up, instead of last week''

week 1 show is after the official mourning period so that date does not need to change
funeral could be either on sunday 18th or monday 19th i think, idk would they do funerals on sundays?

BBC are soon to come with an official statement regarding launch show upcoming saturday, and this can be wether it goes ahead, but talked about it being prerecorded and it being toned down without the sparkly countdown anymore now last few days, also a good thing from them
they can do the launch show this saturday i don't see why not, with a video message tribute to the queen near the end, and on 24th week 1 show opening pro number, last minute improv homage to the queen dance, very respectful celebration number to her 70 years of service as longest reigning monarch would be nice

https://metro.co.uk/2022/09/12/strictly-come-dancing-queen-was-huge-fan-of-bbc-series-says-jj-chalmers-17360647/
It’s always been a wonder how much the Queen knew about pop culture, but it’s now emerged that she was indeed an avid watcher of Strictly Come Dancing.
Celebrities and public figures have been sharing heartwarming anecdotes about Queen Elizabeth II following her death aged 96 last Thursday.
The news was announced by Buckingham Palace who said the monarch died ‘peacefully’ at her Balmoral home in Scotland.
Huw Edwards has been leading the BBC’s coverage of the Queen’s death and the events leading up to her funeral on September 19.
On Monday, as Her Majesty’s coffin passed through Edinburgh in a procession including King Charles III, broadcaster Edwards was joined by Strictly contestant JJ Chalmers.
Chalmers, 35, competed in the 2020 series of the BBC dancing competition alongside professional dance partner Amy Dowden, but was eliminated in the quarter finals.
The former Royal Marine also has a pretty strong link to the Royal Family, as his father, John Chalmers, was once the Queen’s Chaplin.
Reminding viewers of Chalmers’ proximity to the Royals, Edwards said: ‘Lots of viewers will be fascinated to learn, they’ve seen you broadcasting, but they may not be aware you have a family link.’
Chalmers confirmed: ‘Yes and it’s a remarkable thing to have a relationship with the Royal Family of my own, and then a relationship my father had for a very long time with The Queen. And some of the occasions I’ve met her were with my father, for example in the grounds of Holyrood there.’
The TV presenter was referring to the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, where the Queen’s coffin was brought to rest after leaving Balmoral Castle on Sunday.
Delivering the bombshell revelation about Her Majesty’s TV viewing habits, Chalmers added: ‘And actually, I’ve never said this one, but one of the most lovely things I’ve ever seen was, following the death of her husband my father had obviously written to her and she returned a letter which was typed and had all the expected notes within it, but at the bottom was a handwritten message that said: “I’ve just realised that the JJ Chalmers that I’ve been watching on the coverage of my husband’s funeral is the same JJ Chalmers that you told me of being injured all those years ago”.
‘And also a line that said: “And the same JJ Chalmers that I enjoyed watching on Strictly Come Dancing”. That’s the great thing.
‘So yes she has two things actually, she has an incredible memory but she also watches Strictly Come Dancing.’
Strictly fans are currently wondering whether the new series will launch as planned this Saturday, due to the BBC and ITV pulling some of their staple shows out of respect for the Queen and to leave room for coverage of her death.
This year’s series, its 20th, is expected to begin on Saturday, with 15 celebrities set to take to the ballroom floor to show us their moves.
The line-up was announced in recent weeks and includes presenter Helen Skelton, former EastEnders actor James Bye, The X Factor star Fleur East and former England football captain Tony Adams.
Britain’s Got Talent finalist Molly Rainford, singer Matt Goss and Ted Lasso actress and comedian Ellie Taylor are all also on the bill.
The Queen is currently lying in state in Edinburgh before her coffin is flown to London on Wednesday, accompanied by daughter Princess Anne, ahead of her funeral on Monday.
well BBC you know what to do, let the launch show go through on the 17th, its what Lizzie would've wanted

also a nice gesture to air the film Paddington instead on saturday, and Paddington 2 on monday
btw maybe they should invite few royals for November 19th Blackpool show, as special VIP guests in that glamorous classy tower ballroom, and maybe as a last minute opening celebs, pro dance, a nice tribute to the queen (she deserves that big time, the superfan of this show she has been too), Lizzie for sure had good taste in faves, JJ was also among my faves

Nicky91
15-09-2022, 07:25 AM
even Kaye looking at her most elegant possible, she got some serious ballroom queen potential going by this look
Tyler is a latin boy i think, those cha cha's salsa's, samba's will suit him to perfection
Tony is our ''wildcard'' no one knows what to possibly expect, but he got a great personality anyway
Molly oozes ''pixie lott'' vibes to me, could be a QF shock boot same as pixie idk
Ellie T adopting the Catherine Tyldesley similar pose :fan:
Matt once again with a hat
Jayde oozing Ilka Bessin vibes once again for me, don't let me down gurl, pls be as iconic and a surprise as Ilka was in germany
Richie creeping me out :umm2: that pose and that look especially how he looks at the camera
Hamza looks like a cutie
Ellie S come on you queen, please be as inspiring and as phenomenally great as Mathias was earlier this year
battle of the actors look wise
i am liking Will more than James here in this photo, and once again he looks bit similar to ''David DeLuise'' whom also got that very charismatic presence going for him, while James idk, he's giving me Joe McFadden vibes, not sure if he can dance as well as Joe i don't know if anyone can tbh
but all in all it is a well taken cast photo, great lightgreen background, loving the 1/2 and whole glitterballs too

Will Mellor actually seems to have good rhytm there.
I think Kim and a few others also have potential.

24-09-2022, 07:29 AM
my thoughts on the pairing in a ranking
1. Tony & Katya (am pleasantly surprised he got Katya, rather than Luba, i trust Katya as she has proven herself before with novices like with Ed, Mike as a clever choreographer, good teacher, and i've been warming up to her on celeb masterchef recently as well)
2. Matt & Nadiya (OMG OMG OMG, finally Nadiya getting herself a great one, a nice reward after last years good job with Dan the Man)
3. Ellie S & Nikita (will be a struggle for Nikita in terms of height in the ballrooms, but i think this could be a fun couple to watch)
4. Helen & Gorka (yass a good one for Gorks, going to be going far again i think)
5. Fleur & Vito (aljaz who? already forgotten about him now, Vito seems soooooo nice, charming and cute his mom got emotional about this next career move from him)
6. Will & Nancy (battle of actors, i deffo prefer Will over James, and great 2nd partner for Nancy, good contrast from hyperactive Rhys last year to a still fun yet more calmer Will)
7. Kym & Graziano (i really want Gethin to show up again backstage pls pls, the fun interviews that can come from that, but yeah this pairing was meant to be, they know each so well already from morning live)
8. Hamza & Jowita (will be an early boot ok, but am happy Jowita got herself a first partner in full series anyway, and hopefully she'll make a good enough impression for herself to stay for next year)
9. Jayde & Karen (a good last hurrah partner for Karen, and Jayde got potential to be a fun contestant)
10. Tyler & Dianne (TyDi :laugh3: well i hope she can break her week 4 curse with him, whom i get dev 2.0 vibes with, so please don't be too underwhelming)
11. Molly & Carlos (not sure here, but again just pleased we got another newbie male with a first partner, and if he is king of rumba, pls let him do a rumba soon then)
12. Ellie T & Johannes (LOL yeah JoJo cannot get lucky twice in a row with another contender male, so they give him this female version of last years rhys it seems, very hyperactive, and if that was her comedy best bits, her humour is not my humour lol)
13. James & Amy (are going to do well but i just find him dull, gives me serious Joe McFadden-ish vibes)
14. Richie & Giovanni (GOOD ON YOU Gio to also be more open to same-sex dancing, it is a nice extra challenge, Gio doing a Vadim, not taking to Richie so far i find him far tooo cringe over the top)
15. Kaye & Kai (wow what a contrast from last years AJ for him, mommy addams family is deffo the worst from the addams family, but who knows maybe she can prove me wrong like Sara did last year in week 2 :joker:)
soooooo yes, my fave is Tony for now, and in the group dance i thought what he did was just nice, nothing embarrassing or anything, showcasing bits of potential of a very charming, funny personality, contestant wise he gives me ''Brian Conley meets Graeme Swann'' vibe
cool VT too, to include his statue at the old arsenal stadium

Omg that would've been a funny moment if that had've happened.:joker:
And don't get me wrong I'm not saying that he was the worst on the night, but a 34 was extreme imo given that they'd scored better performances lower on the leaderboard.

This series is already making me laugh it feels a bit comedic , Im actually watching back the individual dancing on youtube . As i can't be bothered watching the main show as the judges usually get on my nerves, and their odd ball scoring does aswell .

so does Molly, a Sylvia Young prodigy :idc: (same as Mark Wright had)
Jayde and Hamza, Kaye are the real powerhouses, from NO DANCE EXPERIENCE whatsoever to already being phenomenally great as of week 1, what masterclasses from them last night :worship:

Richie is way too over the top in everything
and not to forget him basically being Zoe Ball's prodigy
last years John was a way better choice for same-sex partnership, whom wasn't this self-absorbed at all
its cool that Richie is a strictly superfan and everything but personality wise a no no for me

Some comments online are making out Giovanni is 'uncomfortable' around Ritchie, if you know what I mean . But why did Giovanni choreograph such silly moves in the routine, it feels very joke act. Is it because he knows Ritchie is a rubbish dancer ,so he's just making him do camp stuff?.
This is literally what Anton use to do when he had a celeb with 2 left feet, most the time he wouldn't even try to teach them properly ..so he just made his partner do awful gimmicky stuff.

alright my week 1 review
Kym & Graziano: could've had loads more kicks, looked a bit lazy, too many breaks in the routine, not that great 4
Tyler & Dianne: wow, i see potential here and already some good chemistry as well, great performance 8
Jayde & Karen: YASSS YASSS YASSSSS EPIC Slayage of a samba, this was perfection 10
Kaye & Kai: surprisingly good tango, sexy mommy can dance! 6
James & Amy: was just very dull for me, and his arms looked like spaghetti in places, 5
Richie & Giovanni: NOOOOOOO, :yuk: way too over the top, rupaul drag race vibes more, no good cha cha content whatsoever 2
Helen & Gorka: good start to her journey, will be a finalist i reckon 7
Molly & Carlos: lacked actual samba content and more showing off from Carlos, bit meh 7
Matt & Nadiya: big disappointment for me, not enough quickstep content and he also didn't sell the performance very well, 4
Ellie S & Nikita: good fun, great performance, great chemistry 8
Tony & Katya: not good, but also not a disaster for me, enjoyable 5
Will & Nancy: best jive i've ever seen on this show! 9
Ellie T & JoJo: surprisingly good, she's full of stunning fun personality too, 7
Hamza & Jowita: PERFECTION!, finalist material here 10
Fleur & Vito: same with Carlos, Vito showing off his talent, and not enough cha cha content i'm afraid, it was too energetic 6

i really have no idea who will be first out
with the likes of
Ellie T
Kaye
Matt
Tony
likely to be on a latin dance now, a funny latin might keep Tony in i think, he has the right personality as well to pull off a ''people's champion'' sort of public support same as Jeremy Vine, Ed Balls, John Sergeant
not sure if Matt has the personality to do well with the public
think bit of comedy wouldn't hurt Kaye either, and she might get the loose women voters support
Ellie T is a ''could be first out due to ending up being overlooked''
Richie is a weird one for me, he might have the Gio fanbase support which could see him through into week 3, although not sure about that either, since in some cases you don't always get that pro fanbase support
Molly could get overlooked by public, but i reckon she'll be high enough on leaderboard to survive on jury score alone for the first few weeks at least, and then i can see her beating some below her in dance offs for few weeks more
Jayde could be a ''shock first exit a la Nina last year'' although i don't see that happening, due to her being a good dancer AND Karen's last hurrah 2nd female same-sex partnership, TPTB deffo want to make sure Karen ends on a high i think with lots of iconic moments

I think Will has great stage presence. That's the reason he's my favourite.
He's reminding me a lot of Kelvin Fletcher, who hasd a similar presence on the dancefloor.
But Will has more of a personality, I found Kelvin a bit dull even though he was an excellent dancer.

A lot of the celebs need to step it up next week if they want to stay.
Tony is easily the weakest, but he may have a good fanbase voting for him.
That would put the lesser known in trouble.

In recent year the show's Choreography Corner segment has been hosted by a different former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer each week. However, that will change for this year, as former Strictly professional and champion Joanne Clifton has joined as the segment's permanent host.
Clifton told RadioTimes.com: "I am so incredibly honoured to be taking the lead with Choreography Corner this year! Strictly has been - and continues to be - a massive part of my life. I’ve always had a brilliant time on It Takes Two and it has been a joy to be able to come back and visit my Strictly Family since hanging up the sequins in 2016.

i myself am loving this line up so much, probably my fave line up yet (and this is also something i say every year)
one can be negative regarding the viewer ratings, but to give that a positive spin to it, 6.8 million viewers at least did see a wonderful week 1 show, not too much overmarking compared to other recent years
and that songs, dances for this week promises lots of goods yet again
and 6.8 million is 1 million more than for launch show, so we only lost out on 1 million viewers there for this year in a head to head battle against the england football match vs italy
viewing figures in germany btw
the covid year 2020 had a peak in viewers, over 4.7 million mainly also because no live audiences that year, and there was the stay at home rule ofc
2021 went slightly down but still above average 4.2 million with reduced audience in studio
2022 with full audiences again, we had viewing figures like 3.8 million average and for launch show and grand final a slight increase 4.1 and 4.3 million respectively
and strictly has also people like me, from Netherlands tuning into the show, also fans from Belgium tuning in, i once read on social media's like facebook
Mystic Mock
29-09-2022, 03:37 PM
Strictly always builds it's ratings up, so the producers shouldn't panic just yet.
If the Show has lost people though then I can't say that I'm shocked after last year with Rose's coronation and essentially being treated with kiddie gloves compared to every one else.
Also the final last year had to be the most glum final in Strictly history with how much crying was going on.

Kaye & Kai are going to be good this week i think
there's going to be cartwheel tricks, maybe more than 2 lifts
her swivels looked decent in that training clip what we saw
Ellie S came across really lovely last night, she and Nikita have such great chemistry already
Helen's Cha Cha dress looks sizzling HOT, lovely light blue
Ellie T's Paso dress has very vibrant pink colours
Amy has a lovely looking tango dress
tonight Tony & Katya, Kym & Graziano, and the first friday panel of the series (am curious who are in the panel)

something i have to confess
i've been watching this show since series 9 (so that's 11th series for me now this year)
and i've been watching it takes two since series 11 i think  yes the moment when i started having favourites (Abbey was the first one who i really really liked)
the taste in my favourites now you think of it
Abbey Clancy, Georgia May Foote, Daisy Lowe, Pixie Lott, Brian Conley, Mollie King, Lauren Steadman, Emma Weymouth, Chris Ramsey, Kelvin Fletcher, Bill Bailey, Dan Walker, Adam Peaty
the flav :flutter:

Tony is so nice  his charleston training clip, looked pretty alright, Katya opted for the slapstick comedy version of charleston, rather than the one with loads of swivel, smart move i think, for a lesser capable celeb
this will be soooo much fun, and this dance suits him well i think, as well as the character of dustman
good seeing Mollie, Dr Ranj and Ugo again too :flutter:
Nicky91
01-10-2022, 09:12 AM
for tonight i'm looking forward to Hamza & Jowita's Jive, both charlestons (Kaye & Kai a more traditional charleston with swivels, cartwheel tricks, Tony & Katya more slapstick one, also with couple of lifts)
oh and apparently Tony was good in training for his tango, but the first week nerves got to him, he has been enjoying this week a lot more, Katya does see a dancer in him from what she saw in training with the tango
Kym also needs to let go a lot more and have more fun, she's way too serious, she has fab music taste though, as corrs runaway is one of her fave songs what she's dancing to tonight
Jayde looked stiff in training but for tango you need to be stiff, staccato so she does that right i think, one thing i also know about tango is having quite a aggressive look in your face and i think she can do stunningly at that as well, and she gets to live the dream of returning to golden days of being a adele tribute act tonight :D
Matt hmmm samba suits him better than quickstep that's for sure, and a disco samba could at least be somewhat enjoyable maybe
i have full respect for Tyler, first doing the marathon today and then tonight jiving to hit the road jack with Dianne :worship:

Who's ready for another round of Strictly magic?
Our couples are back in the Ballroom tonight with their second routine of the series, and it really is all to play for. We've got Quicksteps, Tangos, Charlestons and more to look forward to from our fifteen fabulous pairs, and the stakes couldn't be higher.
Not only will our couples be scored by the Judges, but the public vote will open for the first time this series, meaning two couples will face the Dance Off and one duo will be heading home in tomorrow night's Results Show! So listen out for the vote opening when Claudia announces it in the show and get all the details here, so you're ready to save your favourites when the moment comes.
We're wishing all our Strictly stars the best of luck for tonight's live show - they've worked so hard over to bring us some sensational performances and we know that you're going to love them too!
Keep up with everything happening before, during and after the show over on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter, and join us at 6.30pm tonight on BBC One.

both charlestons impressed me equally as much, both very greatly in character all the time too
James HALLELUJAH, major improvements from last week for me, no longer that dull at all, he has shown some more personality, and i disagree with craig big time, there was loads of drama
Ellie T, what can i say LOL, whoever thinks a pink dress is a good idea VICKY  but other than that, i agreed with Craig, lots of posing going on, and too little attack from her side
Fleur, beginner pro mistakes can happen yes, but contemporary viennese waltz did not work for me, too little content, too much faffing about to quote our legendary Len
Molly, no dance experience and being this good, WOW, we all knew she was an amazing singer, but now we see her talent for dance as well
Richie, ugh as much i hate him, Gio is making a dancer out of him, although not sure yet, as both dances here were in his comfort zone, i wanna see him with a serious dance such as tango, waltz, rumba, paso, he'll struggle a lot there i think, where he cannot be too smiley and hyperactive
Nicky91

Will was worse than the week before, but somehow i still enjoyed watching his salsa, and natural hip rotation rather than too theatrical or too good
so there were mistakes yes, but mistakes make you human, and mistakes should be there in your journey with all honesty, 7 because it was still a enjoyable routine
Helen was undermarked, that was a fantastic cha cha for a complete beginner :clap2: she's in it to win it

I don't know what the hell Matt was doing , he's worse this week lol .
I think both Fleur & Molly were the best last night:) .
Tony improved, but it was only enjoyable because of all the little clever tricks Katya threw in,I didn't expect her to pick him up at the end . Also was he supposed to drop her ..one of their lifts looked a little awkward Lol .
I actually enjoyed a few of the dances ie Helen looked like she was having so much fun & I liked her dance , Hamza had one of the best songs to jive to ,Will has the confidence.
Kim's routine was so elegant ,and again one of the best songs for ballroom.
I was even impressed by Richie as there was a proper routine. Both Ellie's look like they're getting more comfortable now . But when I watch Ellie T , I'm more focused on Johannes because he's such a good teacher.
Jayde dipped this week ,was too stompy. But the drama was there.
Tyler & James keep improving ,and I enjoyed their dances .

Fleur is delivering decent dances tbf, but I can tell that Shirley really doesn't like her, so I'm interested to see how long Fleur will last in the competition from that.
And I agree about Tony, but Katya has always been a pro at making bad or average dancers look really good, I always remember how good she managed to make Seann look with his Matrix Paso Doble performance.

As an Amy fan I think James will do well his tango went well
went really well, saw 100% more personality from him in that tango, and Craig was wrong about the lack of drama, i thought there was just enough drama in that
if not couple's choice, i think it could also be cha cha or salsa considering most of that film's soundtrack suits those dances the best as well i think

to me, i can imagine a very lovely rumba to this, maybe some visual effects too, of some dinosaurs
am happy they aren't going to be dressed as dinosaurs anyway, i was like Phew, dodged a bullet there
such an iconic piece of music
Little Mermaid for Fleur btw makes a lot of sense, the live action character is a POC so perfect for Fleur to play that one then
very trending themes too
Jurassic Park in the year of Jurassic World Dominion release
Top Gun: Maverick also very current (yet still also something what casual audiences are familiar with)
also love usage of The Artist for Ellie S & Nikita, representing the silent film slot

opening of the show is a EPIC Encanto-inspired routine
and we've definitely got 14 blockbuster, top notch film classics in store for you, a good mix of older gems and new hits
Ellie S and Nikita: Quickstep to Peppy and George from The Artist
Ellie T and Johannes: Cha Cha Cha to The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss) from Mermaids
Fleur and Vito: American Smooth to Part Of Your World from The Little Mermaid
Helen and Gorka: Viennese Waltz to Hopelessly Devoted To You from Grease
Jayde and Karen: Cha Cha Cha to What A Feeling from Flashdance
Kym and Graziano: Charleston to If My Friends Could See Me Now from Sweet Charity
Molly and Carlos: Waltz to One Hand, One Heart from West Side Story
Hamza and Jowita: Rumba to the Theme from Jurassic Park
James and Amy: Cha Cha Cha to Hooked On A Feeling from Guardians of the Galazy
Matt and Nadiya: Viennese Waltz to Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick
Richie and Giovanni: Samba to Hakuna Matata from The Lion King
Tony and Katya: Samba to You Sexy Thing from The Full Monty
Tyler and Dianne: Charleston to Flash, Bang, Wollop! from Half a Sixpence
Will and Nancy: American Smooth to Cry To Me from Dirty Dancing
popular classics such as Dirty Dancing, Grease, but also the newest Top Gun film, as well as Marvel getting representation with usage of Guardians of the Galaxy, and even a Spielberg classic Jurassic Park
and in light of the new live action Little Mermaid, very good to know Fleur is a good representation of its lead character Ariel based on that
even silent film getting represented, The Artist in the form of a quickstep by our inspirational 5 time paralympian champion Ellie Simmonds
Tony Adams embracing his inner Robert Carlyle striptease moment for Full Monty Samba
and who doesn't want to see Gio dressed as a Warthog, that can only happen on Strictly!
who will get praise (and high scores) = contention for some strictly oscars
and who will be down at the other end in contention for some strictly raspberry awards for worst performances
dear fellow tibbers, play along being your own movie critics for the week and give our couples your scores

Tbf isn't that why Rose won last year?
Because imo John, AJ & Rhys were better dancers.

09-10-2022, 06:43 AM
So predictable that Tony would be the joke act , that dance was cringy AF ... showing his chest & bright red boxer shorts . We all know what you're doing Katya :notimpressed: .
I didn't like Matt's performance either .... stiff & very awkward , he's actually worse this week .
James' performance looked like he was drunk , he clumsily threw his body all over the place. go figure he's popular though.
Jayde: is still stomping about , whilst trying to keep up with Karen & try and have fun.
Richie : is also a laughing stock , and both him & Gio were set up with ridiculous stuffy costumes  . I'm surprised they didn't faint .
Ellie S : will be getting the sympathy vote , but tbf to her the quickstep was actually not bad . I don't think she could help getting some of the footwork wrong.
Hamza: did a pleasant Rumba , it strangely worked to the Jurassic Park theme.
Ellie T : has lost a bit of confidence, and needed to move her hips more in the cha cha . Wasn't awful though as Johannes is really trying to make her reach her potential.
Tyler : Hands down one of my favourite performances, i really enjoy his enthusiasm & technique.
Will : Bags of confidence maybe could be seen as a bit showy , but he can dance . Some of his facial expressions still make me laugh LOL , its like he's enjoying it so much that he's a bit tongue in cheek with it , to the point where he's joking around with how serious to be or not serious.
Mollie : this girl is like a professional what the hell , wow at her skills seriously .
Helen : Did a really nice tribute to Olivier Newton John, with her elegant performance.
Fleur: is actually amazing , completely underrated . And dancing to little Mermaid looked beautiful.
Kim : Looked like she morphed into a broadway star , she brought such joy to her Charleston .

Richie & Giovanni 7 (was more distracted by the outfits than i was able to focus on the actual dance content, very entertaining)
Molly & Carlos 9 (simple, elegant, proper dancing)
Kym & Graziano 8 (great performance, she did this dance justice)
Hamza & Jowita 5 (visuals looked stunning, performance kinda dull though)
Ellie T & Johannes 1 (forgettable performance, very very bad technique, very wooden)
Matt & Nadiya 7 (i agreed with my dad, this was quite decent from them, you can see he's been working hard on trying to improve)
Tyler & Dianne 10 (amen Shirley & Motsi, this was perfection, worthy of a 10 for sure)
Fleur & Vito 7 (same as with Hamza, visuals looked stunning, performance was a bit meh, good but meh)
James & Amy 9 (James his dad dancing moves are so infectious, this was good fun)
Ellie S & Nikita 8 (am surprised how light on her feet she is, and Nikita looked so different too)
Will & Nancy 4 (weird performance, a performance with a dance identity crisis, was it a rumba, was it a foxtrot, was it a american smooth, not sure, not a convincing acting performance as Swayze either)
Tony & Katya 7 (not a perfect dance of course, but besides the top quality entertainment, i also really liked the brazilian football samba move, yes i can see a dancer inside of him)
Helen & Gorka 5 (dull dull dull, and very predictable where the fleckrl was going to come)
Jayde & Karen 1 (Karen outdanced her big time lol, Jayde's moves were just stomping around and throwing a tantrum, her worst dance yet)

I love Will confidence, that's when he's at his best.
For a non dancer he's really graceful, I wasn't expecting that.

Tyler was amazing, he's really growing on me.
So was Molly and Helen.

I like Tony, but he has a long way to go to catch up to the others. His samba was fun though.
Matt was much improved, I enjoyed that routine.
James was fun, but technically not great.
I agree Ritchie was stitched up with the costumes, you couldn't even see what dance they were dancing. Such a shame.
I like Tyler, Molly and Helen and Will is still mu favourite.
The rest I'm a bit meh about it .
