I don't think Matt feels bullied at all. He expected things to be difficult, but so far it went well.
He's fitted in nicely in camp.

I'm afraid I'm giving up on this now for this series.
It's supposed to be involving all the celebrities.

Some just seem to be talking or lying around, in the edits anyhow.

However it's become as I half expected, the Hancock and Boy George show.
2 individuals I don't think, just my view, who should ever have been asked to be in it or accepted going on it.

The raw and strong hurt I and my family hold against Hancock leaves it an insult to us he's even there.
As for Boy George and his diminishing and glossing over his conviction for a really serious crime.
With his account not fitting with the judgement he got.
With him then getting away with it.
Absolutely disgraceful on a so called TV entertainment show.
He's an insult to all decency.
Yet he's lauded in there.

I and my family will never like Hancock and will do all we can to see he has to face real justice for his and Johnson's dangerous policy which brought tragedy to families across the UK.

This shouldn't be what a TV entertainment competitive show ought to be about.

As to the whole rest of the others who are making up the numbers it seems only, in this series of the Hancock and Boy George show rather than a real 'I'm A Celebrity .... ' show.

Cleaver has seen what "Mighty Mike" has been doing and is trying to create her very own little hugging ritual. DESPERATE. She also pretended she had a dream about Scott and Fleetwood Mac.

As Walsh and Scott spilled some mundane yarns about being late or in the wrong place, George could be seen getting restless, anxiously awaiting to name drop and tell a crappy couple of his own.

Motor mouth Moyles was given the latest trial and he FLOPPED even harder than his 3-stooge gig yesterday. He held a spanner like a non-smoker holds a cig.. and his "panic" while in puddles no deeper than paddling pools was PATHETIC.

Scott is unashamedly plugging her&her gf's mickey mouse coffee shop.

George says we must take everything we read with a pinch of salt,, he's concerend about the non-truths that have became truths only through "folklore". As pathetic as the justice system proves to be at times, it's not in the habit of dishing out jail sentences without evidence greater than whatever made-up muck a tatty rag may print. When you're not guilty of something or feel hard done by, the normal reaction is to want to talk about it, to have your say without the possibility of counter-argument. Anyway, him and his newly acquainted spiritual guides "know the truth" and that's all that matters.

She is lovely but I don’t see her as a winner….I think Scarlett might be in for a shout but I did not like her attitude at first especially towards MH and the “why are you here” comment.
I like Baba and I kind of like Seann…but he is too far up BG’s arse and his relationship towards MH changed once he was in camp.
Can’t warm to any of them much…but Would love to see Matt win although I doubt he will. He has just been so nice with everyone…joined in and embraced the experience more than any of them.

A new day, and NO George opening for the 1st time in what seems like 6 years. But replacing him with a pair of rats was hardly a refreshing change.

As "uncle Sean" tells of what a great sleep he had away from the hammock, his replacement Warner is now moaning about it..all the while White is sitting looking pathetic and guilty at the same time..as her flat out refusal to sleep in a comfy bed(BECAUSE of who is beside it) is maintaining easily avoidable issue. As the campers stupidly got to pick who does the next trial, Douglas was seen kicking off with "well one of them's got to be Mike" and Y exactly? Y does it "got to be"?? but of course "Mighty Mike" is looking over at her as she says that and he's nodding along like an excited do-gooding clown. Panicking that the mighty one was lining himself up for glory, Scott was next to rush her name forward..making sure the sickly plaudits would at least be shared between them. And the equally DESPERATE Warner(the idiot they're all tripping over each other for, so as to gift him the stupid beach BBQ prize) was vocal enough to ensure he was the turd wheel.

Of course it was no great surprise to learn that the supposed numerical advantage with the balls turned out to be complete BALONEY, as puppets Ant/Dec were there to simply look down and just pick the color of whatever person they wanted to see get rewarded with the BBQ nonsense. PATHETIC. This is Dec's version of "looking away" while "randomly" picking a ball..

Tbh that got on my nerves aswell ... Charlene failing and crying over the trial, as I was hoping she would do well and prove herself ...I already mentioned this in the thread about Charlene's elimination. The camp were extremely understanding,but then again they're use to failure,Chris got 1 star previously.


Both Chris & Charlene have really disappointed me ,Sue needs to do something aswell.

Exactly. It’s hard to watch the hypocrisy and double standards when it comes to other campmates. I only hope it backfires on them all and MH stays in there and they find themselves more unpopular than he is.

I think the majority of people realise the Matt Hancock wasn't personally reaponsible for the virus (neither was he personally responsible for securing vaccines which incidently when Boris was in the news lately everyone said was his triumph, now its apparently Matts). What people I have spoken to are, quite rightly in my opinion, pissed off about, is that one of the main players in a health catastrophy is now on a reality TV programme makong masses of cash of being tje Health Sec during Covid. Before Covid, I knew nothing of Matt Hancock and unless you had a real interest in Politics he wasn't a big hitter. It's so soon after the pandemic that people are still grieving over loved ones, some who died as a direct consequence to his decisions. My mums been dead for 8 years but I am still angry at the doctor's who missed her cancer before it was diagnosed and she had no chance of treatment, I know it was the cancer that killed her but I blame them anyway, its a human reaction to look for blame. Same with a lot of people with the Gov and Covid.

Its nothing to do with being a Tory, its nothing to do with media bias, its about people grieving and one of the main players making a lot of money off the back of it.

In general Matt seems like a nice guy but people are allowed to dislike him if they want. I don't think they are bullying him, maybe two faced but not bullying. He seems to be enjoying his experience and when its over he doesn't have to associate with anyone of them again

My question was asked of those who believe he knowingly ‘sent the elderly to their deaths in care homes’.... The many news channels over the last fortnight have been full of presenters and familiar guests saying just that with self - righteous rage, with only a few exceptions.

No one was asked or attempted to answer the question ‘what would you have done’? Probably because, like him, you would be in an impossible situation and whatever decision was made would cause hurt and anger. It was a lose - lose situation.
The thing is, he didn’t throw in the towel and say “I’m not doing this job, someone else can be the scapegoat”; he did the best he could. So no, I don’t think it's natural to blame him (or Boris), I think it’s cruel.

Annie - I read a very interesting, but long and detailed piece a while back about how Matt and Boris worked very closely together during the pandemic - on all decisions made, including the very successful vaccine rollout which has saved millions, but is never mentioned. I have been trying to find it to post currently relevant bits but no luck yet.
