Even if he does win, he'll be winning a year where the Show is pulling in less viewers than the franchise average, so it's not the biggest endorsement.

And I know last year rated lower, but both Series have rated below the franchise average.

And tbh in the long term I'll be interested to see where the trashy route will take IAC, because the trashy path killed BB in the end in terms of mass appeal.

Edit... Okay I stand corrected on the ratings front.

I do honestly think that the trashy route will be the end of IAC long term though.

I totally agree Jet...Jill is witty but as you say quite dull. Owen acts like a 5 year old and its tiresome and pathetic and Mike is as you say miserable, he constantly looks bored and clearly would rather be anywhere else...
Matt has made the series...I would love him to win but even if he takes 4th place he is a winner...

Considering I've seen contestants be pulled up over petty things in the past on Reality TV, I think being apart of a party that got people killed during the Pandemic is worthy of not voting for Hancock.

Which is partly the reason I gave Matt my 5 App votes every single night, and partly because I liked him in the jungle; he comes across as a nice, decent man who is upfront, upbeat and willing to give everything a go. As he has done so well, using Matt as a scapegoat doesn't sit well with plenty of people.

Matt and Boris were the media generated UK political fall guys used by their naysayers to draw attention to themselves for their own agenda's and sanctimonious rants.
Truth is, Matt and Boris knew no more about killer pandemics than you or I. They had to rely on a whole host of experts, and even they, being human, didn’t always get it right.
Look at how their great success with the early vaccine rollout which saved countless lives and reduced pressure on the NHS is seldom mentioned. Very odd, eh?
Spotlighting one or two people for any failures (or succusses) is crazy, it is way more complicated than that….

My main problem with Matt in the jungle is he is meant to be a working MP. He has taken at least a month off, but is still being paid by my tax money. His constituents are without their MP. He also has filmed SAS too so more time he was being paid twice when he should be serving his constituency. Thats my main issue. Tax payers money being wasted on his salary whilst he is earning handsomely in there.

Before anyone says well the others are being paid twice, that may be the case but its not coming out of the public purse ...

Chris Moyles - is freelance so only gets paid when on the radio
Sue Cleaver - paid by ITV which is predominantly funded by adverts.
Owen - same as Sue
Babatunde - gets paid for gigs he does so won't have earned whilst in there
Mike - own business
Jill - own business
Sean - same as Baba
George - not salaried by anyone

My main problem with Matt in the jungle is he is meant to be a working MP. He has taken at least a month off, but is still being paid by my tax money. His constituents are without their MP. He also has filmed SAS too so more time he was being paid twice when he should be serving his constituency. Thats my main issue. Well it was a massive gamble for ITV and Matt Hancock...but it paid off. Many People will now see him as a the decent human being he is and ITV increased their viewing figures because of him.
Lets be honest it would have been a bit dull without him whether it was because you liked him or loathed him he kept people watching. So didn't see the final at all.

She was really the only one I had liked in there from the start.

I've watched I'm a Celebrity often sickened by its content over all its series in the past.
Once I decided I was never going to be one fooled and deceived by 2 serial deceivers of the campmates in there this series.
Frankly I haven't missed a single thing about the show at all.
So unless it's got really more worthy individuals in next year.
