i never watched a minute of the series as a matter of principle. Reading the comments here, there are 2 points that come to mind.

1. Just because a group of people are nasty toward someone doesn't make that person a better individual

2. A politician that can communicate well with others doesn't mean that they shouldn't be held accountable for their previous actions

Hancock will always remain an odious individual from my perspective


That’s the irony…
1. The nasty people helped make him look a better person.
2. He has resigned and he has apologised….sadly some people want blood.

Surely what isn’t observed can’t be judged?
It’s just as well you didn’t watch if you wanted to continue believing Matt Hancock is odious as a person because if you were honest with yourself, you would have been disappointed at his lack of odiousness. :laugh:

It's always predictable every year, especially the winner. The only winner that pleasantly surprised me was Giovanna 2 years ago...as she just pipped Jordan to the crown.

Pretty much. I'll normally avoid watching any show live(time conflict as well as annoying ads reasons being) so throughout this entire season I was downloading each ep and catching up the following day. Last night I needed shave and bath.. so after Spain-Germany match I decided it was good chance to get this rubbish by with. So I took my lappy into bathroom, tuned into ITV via THIS ONLINE STREAM (https://js.freestreams-live1.com/itv-live1/), sat lappy on the pan, hopped into tub and had a nice relaxing soak as I watched the predictable nonsense unfold..

I think it was the the way it was dealt….the holier than thou attitude of “why are you here”..there are ways of asking that question as you can imagine…however it was said in a demeaning way as though he had no right to be…he had as much right to be there as they were…that imo is why they both went first. The rest of them just bitched behind his back…instead of saying it to his face apart from BG but that’s because MH walked in on his conversation…but even then he just said “I have been hating on you…” he never said to Matts face the reason why regarding his mother being in hospital…
Their obvious frustrations played out in uncomfortable viewing. Baba was the only one imo who questioned his actions without being judgemental.
IF they had been a bit more mature about it…confronted him without being self righteous…things could have played out quite differently.
Things like turning his Gilet and jacket back to front so the public couldn’t see his name and number….the sniggering when he fell back in his seat, laughing AT him not with him…all those little things backfired and that’s why the public ended up supporting him.
I’m not attacking them for displaying their emotions…it was the way they displayed them..it was snidey and grossly immature.

Being on a reality show for 2 weeks doesn’t wipe away someone’s actions, he’s still an odious, slippery weasel that oversaw the deaths of god knows how many people in care homes and then did whatever he wanted while the vast majority of people stuck to what he was telling us to do, if people want to ‘savage’ him for that, they’re entitled to, even if there are simpletons out there that think him eating a cock restores his image

I was disappointed that she wasn’t in the series but in hindsight I think we would have seen a completely different Owen as I think that he would have been ‘distracted’ by her presence .

Yeah I didn't miss Olivia Atall, I bet if she stayed ....then Owen & herself would have been another Joey Essex & Amy showmance :notimpressed:.
