Well done Amber and Nikita

I don't care for Salsas but I loved that.
Incredible routine.

La Voix is in danger I reckon.

La Voix and Harry need to be in the dance off.imo.
Shaun

I personally thought that was Vicky's personal best.
And Amber and George did well I thought.

Didn't like that Paso.
Lewis was great as was the Charleston that followed.
I agree.
Alex just isn't a very good dancer.
Obviously if she wins then I'll be happy for my Sweepstake, but her dances have been average at best imo.

The cha cha is really hard, so glad he could do it.
And Katya looked really good in a red outfit.

Remembrance Week my thoughts and scores
Lewis & Katya: a little undermarked if you ask me, i saw so many straightened legs, and the correct cha cha hip action and cuban breaks, a fabulous traditional cha cha 9
Karen & Carlos: FINALLY, that's more like it, and Craig and Shirley were talking nonsense about not enough swivels, i saw plenty of swivels honestly, but this was her personal best 10
Alex & Johannes: judges were talking garbage regarding not enough passion, fire, well not every paso song is same as Espana Cani or Viva Espana, this was a more difficult paso song tbh, and i really liked it, if it looks like a paso, if the vibe is giving off paso, it must still be a paso, but just not showy and that's alright 9
La Voix & Aljaz: criminally undermarked, i saw no gapping whatsoever, i saw rise and fall, footwork also wasn't as disastrous as the judges were saying it was, Justice for La Voix, 10
Balvinder & Julian: MAGIC MOMENT! and yes i do know a bit about Bhangra, and i thought Bal did superb, this dance is almost everytime danced without shoes because you need to feel the ground, and the hands and armography need to be in sync with the leg actions which is very difficult, and you need a good sense of rhythm, musicality for this kind of dance, and this was fabulous 9
George & Alexis: judges were not being harsh enough :idc: i mean everything felt too rushed, as if they were fighting against the timing of the song which wasn't necessary considering Somebody to Love has a good VW beat, sloppy footwork, and overall a very dull uninspiring routine 4
Amber & Nikita: where to begin here, i mean WOW at some of those tricky lifts, so dangerous either, but Amber finally showcased her fun side and first time we got to see the real Amber and not a character, well i'm loving Miss Amber for sure! SHOWGIRL, and Nikita well done on the execution of those lifts, and that slide trick looked epic 11
Vicky & Kai: indeed Anton, Vicky looked like a professional! impressive for a novice, #Contenders? divine tango 11
Harry & Karen: apart from the packography which was funny and impressive, it lacked hip action, he was too stilted in places, whereas other bits he showed his hips and it looked good, weird to judge for me, it was like two dances in one routine, nah this wasn't that great 6

Loved Balvinder's dance i really liked bollywood

Crazy decisions.
Its a different show to what I'm used to.

10-11-2025, 07:50 AM
they are all good sorry to see Harry go
Nicky91
10-11-2025, 07:55 AM
it is like comparing apples to pears tbh
foxtrot is the most difficult dance of the ballrooms, and samba is the most difficult dance of the latins
and to be fair, i also saw La Voix her heel turn in the dance off, while Harry was a bit smoother, quicker in the dance off
am surprised it was a 4-0 though
Nicky91

was screaming when Amber got first called out as safe! :cheer2:
love how she sees this show as a jojo, with ups and downs the entire week, with monday the worst day
a paso doble to dream on by aerosmith  that could be good, indeed like Nikita says ''the song of all songs'' that song's vibe fits the vibe of a paso really well i think
Lewis and Katya having a tango, could also be good i think as he was good in the paso, so some of that same attack, drama please
Merry Mockmas

also we'll get former contestants in a group number next week at Blackpool
wonder who they are
i kinda hope Jeremy Vine, since he was robbed from getting to blackpool in his series
i would also love Ainsley Harriott (someone who should've gone further than he did in his series to be fair)
could deffo see Fleur & Vito there since she is there anyway for ITT  Joe & Dianne very likely, quite likely also Karim & Amy (unless we get the comeback of DJJ but that would be downright disrespectful to put Amy through that again)
Ed Balls might also be possible? for his gangnam dance bit
Santa's NaughtiNess
13-11-2025, 09:19 AM
Karim and Amy yes!

Shaun
15-11-2025, 07:40 PM
time to bin Balvinder I'm afraid, she's getting harsh treatment but she's also frightfully dull and not up to par with everyone else (bar La Voix who has a personality and George who has a rabid fanbase)

Balvinder will obviously be in the bottom, just not sure against who. I hope it's George but I think it might be Karen?

I'm worried for George because Craig has the casting vote.
joeysteele
15-11-2025, 08:02 PM
Lewis and Amber were the best again for me.
Whoever he's up against if he's in the bottom 2 then George is probably more than likely out with Craig having the casting vote this week.
Craig was excessively harsh towards him.
I'm voting for George in that case tonight.

Credit to the Big Band, that was a really strong cover of Dream On imo.

Amber and Nikita best of the night so far
Yes they are good but i don't know what it is about Amber, it's like there is no spark no feeling or passion, just get on the dance floor and dance which she does great, for me she just lack's passion

Balvinder & Julian: solid effort and a nice american smooth, only the swing parts near the end were lacklustre and looked half-finished 8
Amber & Nikita: phenomenal, that is how you dance a paso! 10
Alex & Johannes: proper waltz, no faffing about as Len would've said in the past, divine footwork! such a huge improvement for her in the ballrooms 9
Vicky & Kai: flatfooted, no kicks or flicks whatsoever, no musicality whatsoever, disaster 2
Karen & Carlos: UNDERMARKED, this was PERFECTION 10
George & Alexis: indeed that was the wrong hip action, a rumba hip is making an 8 shape, and indeed this was more a contemporary routine than a rumba, for a contemporary this is a 10, but i judge a rumba so 4
Lewis & Katya: phenomenal tango! very back to basics, but yes his arms need sorting out, but that are only tiny details 9
La Voix & Aljaz: most of the time they weren't in sync, the whole thing lacked swing and sway what theatre jazz style needs, it felt repetitive, overmarked to get them to blackpool more than likely 5

Actually this is a very good summary of the dances this week Nicky.
I'd agree top to bottom.

Amber Paso was magnificent, I absolutely loved it.
Also Lewis tango was brilliant, but then I knew he would be as he delivers every week.
I felt for Vicky, she struggled with the jive. Maybe she made mistakes in the dance off. Probably nerves, so much at stake.
Everyone else was good, Balviider is always undermarked.

Diversity tonight in the results show :D
Diversity tonight in the results show :D
What was that other group called in the original competition ?
I actually preferred them to Diversity
Maybe Diversity captured some hearts because they had that cute little kid ..

Tbf it is a dancing Show.
But I think I understand what you mean, Amber (like a few of them this series tbh) can lack a bit of character in their dances.
But tbf to Amber, that technically was one hell of a dance.
And the best Aerosmith song was covered on the Show.
