'Alejandro' is getting amazing airplay in the States, and is even starting to get airtime in the UK. It's been played on Galaxy a lot. After she returns from Japan in late April, she will be shooting the music video and recording new music for the third album. Washington, DC: Lady Gaga is having sleepless nights worrying about her fans. The 'Poker Face' singer is so caught up with fame that she struggles to get sleep at night.

"I'm already crazy. I'm a fearless person. I think it creeps up on you. I don't think it can be stopped. If my destiny is to lose my mind because of fame, then that's my destiny. But my passion still means more than anything," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"For some people, fame kills it and becomes more important than the music or the performance.

"But for me fame is like rocket fuel. The more my fans like what I'm doing, the more I want to give back to them. And my passion is so strong I can't sleep - I haven't slept for three days," she added.

Despite her sleeping problems, she refuses to take any medication to help her relax.

Lady GaGa has dismissed rumours that new single 'Alejandro' has been scrapped in the US after poor feedback from radio station bosses.

The singer was alleged to have become embroiled in a row with her record label over the upcoming release. She wanted to issue the track ahead of the company's preferred song 'Dance In The Dark', Contactmusic reports.

The speculation was sparked following news that 'Alejandro' struggled to make an impact in other territories - entering the Canadian charts at number 78 and in Australia at number 49 - since its release earlier this month.

However, GaGa has now taken to Twitter to reassure fans that the track will be released, posting: "Alejandro is on the radio. ****** it sounds so good, we did it little monsters."

'Alejandro', the follow-up to her huge hit 'Telephone' with Beyoncé, is due out in the US on April 20.

"thank u for wearing your tee-shirt proud at school, you make me so proud, at the monsterball, you are an inspiration to us all. I love you," gaga tweeted on wednesday, explaining that she'd been in the studio "for days and hours of record after record" when she heard one of her monsters was being discriminated against by teachers.

"i love you cole, you just be yourself," she added early thursday morning while on tour in australia. "you're perfect the way god made you."

according to wsmv in nashville, the fight over the shirt has turned into a first amendment issue after goforth's mother claimed that the school is violating her son's right to free speech by sending him home to change out of the shirt when other kids who wear shirts with religious slogans or confederate flags aren't treated the same way.

Goforth, who is openly gay, drew the attention of his school's administrators on monday, when he wore the shirt that pays homage to gaga and her large gay following. He was sent home and ordered to change before returning to school because the shirt was allegedly causing a disruption. His mother said he's worn shirts with the word gay on them before with no problem and speculated that the issue is more about her son's look and orientation than the slogan.

"i think they are singling him out, i really do, and they've made statements that if he wore this in california, he'd fit in just fine," said mom julie gordon.

The local school board's dress code does not specifically ban shirts with the word "gay" on them, but it does allow each principal to interpret the dress code and take action if a student's attire causes a disruption. Administrators said they took action on monday because of a fight at the school last week.

"we've had a few disruptions the last few days, and we thought the slogan on that shirt would continue to escalate those incidents that had occurred," said danny weeks, assistant director of the school board.

First Tenacious D. and now this? In an interview with NME, M.I.A. goes on record saying that Lady Gaga’s music isn’t a genuine reflection of her influences and genuine mindset. While M.I.A. admitted Gaga has talent, she went on to say, based on a comment that people think the two of them are similar, that, “None of her music’s reflection of how weird she wants to be or thinks she is.” Then she also said this:

“She models herself after Grace Jones and Madonna but the music sounds like 20-year-old Ibiza disco. She’s not progressive, but she’s a good mimic. She sounds more like me than I ****ing do! That’s a talent… but she’s the industry’s last stab at making itself important.”

So wait? Is she pissed because Lady Gaga does M.I.A. better than she can do herself? Awesome! Talk about sour grapes. I love watching princess M.I.A. desperately struggle to hang on to her stret cred (keep filming those videos in Brooklyn so all the white trust fund kids living there can buy your music and feel street too) while making poorly thought-out statements in an attempt to distance herself from pop stars and comedic musical acts, as if her music was so groundbreaking (drum ‘n’ bass and jungle were around in the ’80s and so was politically-fueled punk and MC Lyte for that matter, but, uh sure, she’s no mimic).

M.I.A is missing the whole point. Lady Gaga has never once said her music was progressive. She herself has said it’s vapid club music, although she does compose some songs on piano, which is more than we can say for M.I.A. But, yes, much of Lady Gaga’s music is merely a vehicle for her other talents as an artist, which do have the ability to shock and instill a sense of wonder in people. As far as the plugs for things in her video, I know that at least with the Verizon one, any proceed she makes with that campaign goes to support the LGBT community. Soooo, what’s wrong with that? She’s using her power for good. And regardless of how derivative “Bad Romance” is, it’s ****ing serious fun to listen to, which if that’s the music industry’s last attempt at making itself important, I say thanks for doing something that isn’t Justin Bieber! Lady Gaga has been a refreshing change of pace in the pop world, a female incarnation of glam rock and pop stars, which is progressive for young women, and that’s impossible to refute. Watching a group of girls who grew up in some narrow Midwestern town throw up gun signs to M.I.A’s music in some corner Brooklyn bar is nothing short of awkward and silly.

The Bad Romance singer said she is too busy for sex.

"I'm single right now and I've chosen to be single because I don't have time to get to know anyone," she said in an interview.

The pop star once famously said she only has sex with her band members because "it's easier" than finding a partner.

But she has backed a campaign in support of global HIV and Aids projects and says her sleeping around days are over.

Susan Boyle has revealed that she wants to perform with fellow singer Lady GaGa in the future.

The I Dreamed A Dream singer, who finished runner-up on last year's Britain's Got Talent, praised the Fame Monster artist for her individualism.

Spotify has been accused of ripping off songwriters after it emerged that Lady Gaga received just £108 ($167) in royalties for over a million plays of her hit song Poker Face on the music streaming service.

The free and legal streaming service of Spotify has become a huge hit across Europe with over 7 million subscribers; the model is still pending release in the US market due to delays in copyright agreements.

The model is a simple one which works brilliantly for consumers. Listeners have the choice of streaming their music for free, but have to put up with interruptions every few tracks from advertising, or they can pay a monthly subscription fee of around £10 ($15) to receive their music advert free.

However, the model which has proven so popular with the public is receiving less than rave reviews from songwriters who complained of the “tiny” payments they received even from massively successful songs such as Lady Gaga’s Poker Face, Black Eyed Peas’ Boom Boom Pow and Flo Rida’s Right Round.

Provided Spotify gets the green light to be launched in the US by the end of the year, Swedish founder Daniel Ek believes Spotify will be streaming 36 billion songs by Christmas 2010, generating huge revenues for the entrepreneur, but not much at all for the music industry.

In related news, Last.fm silenced their music on demand service, outsourcing the feature to third-party services.

As has become the custom, music executives wailed that if online music services didn’t pay more money to artists then the future of the entire music industry was at risk of collapse. The promo, which sees the singer kidnapped by supermodels and sold to the Russian mafia, has amassed almost 179,000,000 views, only marginally ahead of film showing a baby biting another child's finger.

The video was celebrated as the most-watched clip as part of YouTube's upcoming fifth birthday celebrations.

The website began in April 23, 2005, when a clip was posted of YouTube founder Jawed Karim at the zoo.

Akon is convinced Lady Gaga has scared all her music rivals into copying her sound - insisting Christina Aguilera is "trying to do the exact same thing musically".

The R&B singer takes the credit for discovering Gaga after he signed her to his KonLive label at Interscope Records in 2007 when she was dropped by another of the company's imprints.

The Poker Face hitmaker went on to become an international music sensation, and Akon is convinced her popularity is having an effect on other pop stars who are trying to compete.

Akon admits he's listened to Aguilera's upcoming album, Bionic, and he's convinced the Dirrty hitmaker is doing herself a disservice by trying to mimic Gaga's inimitable style.

He tells Details magazine, "Christina shouldn't have anything to prove or anyone to compete with. I miss the old Christina Aguilera. I like the old one better than the new one. The Bad Romance hitmaker has been using THREE private jets as she travels the globe performing her The Monster Ball Tour.

Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell made the revelation to British newspaper The Sun.

“Our production manager was talking to hers and found out she had three 747s flying around with her,” he told the tabloid.

“I just wanted to tell her that she needs to make a dime or maybe 20 cents after the tour is over with.”

GaGa has previously admitted that her addiction to outlandish outfits has left her broke.
