I played the full Fame Monster album at my birthday party last night. Everybody loved it!

Lady Gaga is recording her third album on her tourbus and - according to rapper and producer Akon - has already written some ''crazy'' tracks for it

Lady Gaga is recording her new album on her tourbus.

The 'Telephone' singer has a mini studio included as part of her convoy - which is presently travelling across the world in her The Monster Ball tour - and according to rapper and producer Akon she has already recorded some "crazy" tracks for her third album.

Akon told Vibe magazine: "She records while she's on the road. I'm flying out to Europe to work on some new records with her.

"Gaga's just like me. She has a tour bus with a studio in it. Some of the songs I've heard are going to be crazy. She's getting bigger and better."

'Sexy Chick' singer Akon signed Gaga to his Kon Live Distribution label in 2008, and said he finds working with the singer-songwriter particularly easy because she is so focused.

Akon added: "All I'm doing at the end of the day is listening to the tracks Gaga has written and approving them for her album. She has producers that she works with outside of myself and they are coming up with some incredible records.

"But the beauty of it is she knows exactly what she wants. So it just makes it easier for me."

Gaga, 24, has previously said she has been writing new songs on the road, and found Liverpool in England - the town where The Beatles came from - to be particularly inspiring.

She wrote on a fan site: "I've already written the first single for the new album and I promise you, that this album is the greatest of my career. It is the anthem for our generation.

"I wrote it for you because of you, when I was in Liverpool, I wrote the greatest music I've ever written."

Lady Gaga is currently on a break after appearing in Japan, and will resume her The Monster Ball tour on May 7 in Sweden.

Lady GaGa has allegedly started to consider plastic surgery.

According to Now, the singer is suffering from low self-esteem and wants to go under the knife in an attempt to conquer her insecurities.

"It seems GaGa can barely get through a concert without blacking out during a break or even collapsing on stage," said an insider. "She's running on empty and not taking proper care of herself at all.

"She's desperately unhappy but keeps talking about having thousands of dollars worth of plastic surgery. She really thinks that could fix everything. She's in a really bad way right now. She puts up such a guard that no-one ever really knows what she's feeling. She thinks she looks too manly and spends hours looking at herself."

Lady GaGa won't be won't be having cosmetic surgery.

This week saw reports in the tabloids that the 'Telephone' star was planning to go under the knife to radically change her looks.

It was claimed that GaGa had become "completely preoccupied" with surgery plans including having a nose job and her breasts enlarged.

Her rep says otherwise however "categorically denying" the story and adding to GossipCop "this is ridiculous and untrue."

Songs by Lady Gaga and Beck will be included on the next installment of the Glee soundtrack, it’s been announced.

The compilation, entitled ‘Glee: The Music, Volume 3’, comprises of covers of songs featured on the show.

Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’ and ‘Bad Romance’, and ‘Loser’ by Beck will be included on deluxe edition of the release on May 18.

Other songs on soundtrack include ‘Gives You Hell’ by All-American Rejects and covers of tracks by Kiss, The Beatles and Aerosmith.

The previous two installments of ‘Glee: The Music’ have both charted in the top-3 on the UK album countdown.

To be fair I was dissapointed with M's apperence on the show. It was rumoured that she (Madonna) was going to sing Celebration for the first time and a accustic Live To Tell which was quite sad that she did not do them.

If Paparazzi got to #4 then I'd imagine Alejandro will do the same. It's the 3rd single from the album though, so it doesn't really matter where it charts. Aslong and the song gets played loads on the radio and the video on the music channels, that'll get anyone who doesnt already have the album get it.

Acts such as Lady Gaga helped sales of downloads in the UK to rocket by more than 50 per cent in a year, new figures showed.

Tracks and albums bought from online retailers such as iTunes generated £154 million in 2009, according to music industry body the BPI.

Overall the music sector showed its first growth for six years, with artists such as Susan Boyle helping to boost income by 1.4 per cent compared with the previous year.

The music industry generated £928.8m in 2009, BPI figures show. Annual income has not risen above £1bn since 2006.

Sales of CD albums dropped by 6.1 per cent to £699 million, even with major releases by Robbie Williams and the reissues of the entire Beatles back catalogue.

Despite the increasing use of online streaming sites such as Spotify and we7, their free, ad-funded services brought in just £8.2 million, although this was a 247 per cent increase year-on-year.

Subscription services brought in £11.8m, up 37.2 per cent.

Altogether digital services account for a fifth of music revenue in the UK.

Geoff Taylor, BPI chief executive, said: ''It's encouraging to see industry revenues stabilise and even show modest growth in 2009.

''The CD continues to show greater resilience than many predicted - it is an excellent digital product. The pace of growth of new digital services is encouraging, but the size of the market continues to be constrained by competition from illegal downloads.''

A group of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan have posted a video of themselves recreating Lady Gaga's Telephone video on YouTube.
The hilarious footage is performed mainly by two soldiers who take on the roles of Lady Gaga and Beyoncé as they perform an energetic and intricate dance routine.

The pair alternate between wearing their standard camouflage uniforms and Gaga-inspired outfits for group scenes which also star fellow soldiers.

In one shot, the man who is playing Lady Gaga is wrapped in yellow belts with net over his face as he attempts to recreate the singer's unique sense of style.
After posting the video on YouTube, user malimelcher wrote: ' This is a couple guys located in afghanistan, that re-made the music video by Lady Gaga....Telephone.

'Prepare yourself for a fantastical journey. Right now this is the temporary version, we have more scenes to cut, and edit, however with guys always on mission it is harder to film than you think.'

The Smoking Gun revealed that the video was filmed by soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division, apparently inside a garage at the Forward Operating Base in Farah province.

The genius behind it was married 24-year-old Aaron Melcher - also the most enthusiastic of the dancers, who posed happily in yellow crime scene tape.

He and Justin Baker, a fellow enlistee, were the main stars of the video.
The video has already had 155,355 views, and has been described as 'the best Gaga tribute ever' by one fan.

Another wrote: 'Nice to see that beside the danger and stress there is also
time for fun ;) Keep up the good work!'
The Telephone remake follows the YouTube hit of British soldiers in Iraq in 2005, when they recorded their own version of Peter Kay's charity performance of Tony Christie's The Way to Amarillo.

If Alejandro video is released in June then chances are it'll be a flop in the UK. It's being released in June. The UK isn't like the US market where radio airplay matters more than anything. Video airplay is what makes a song chart well in the UK, Telephone wouldn't have reached #1 if wasn't for the constant repeat of the video on all the music channels.

Eccentric musician Lady Gaga has revealed that she owns over 20 wigs, which she changes according to her mood.

The singer-songwriter explained that she likes to change her wigs to reflect what she is feeling inside.

She added that she hasn't been shopping for over a year, as her assistants, or as she calls them, 'Gaga fairies', do it for her.

Lady Gaga said: "I can have a new hairstyle everyday without having to run to the hairdresser, which is great, isn't it?

Lady Gaga explained the difference between being glamorous and leading a life of luxury, insisting that despite having little money before skyrocketing to fame, that she was still very vain and very glamorous and, moreover, that she still is.

Gene Simmons wants Lady Gaga to join his band Kiss.

The bass player is a huge fan of the flamboyant singer, and says she reminds him of himself when he was younger.

Kiss are famed for their outrageous stage shows and for covering their faces in black and white make-up. Simmons insists they are the trailblazers of Gaga's look. She is renowned for her outlandish dress sense, often donning underwear for an evening out and wearing skin-tight lace veils to cover her face.

"She's not Lady Gaga, she's really Lady Kiss," Gene said. "I love the vibe, the big mouth and the big visuals. She's the most exciting thing to happen since us. She's a female version of us."

Gene, 60, explained the key to becoming a successful artist is understanding the part fans play in your career. He claims many new stars aren't interested in making those who look up to them happy, which is a huge mistake.

"One of the first things we learned was to treat the audience as the guv'nor. When they buy a ticket they become your boss. We just work here," he told British newspaper The Daily Star. "She realises that her fans deserve the best you got because they pay your wages."

Kiss are currently performing a series of arena shows in the UK. Gene is excited about taking to the stage, saying it marks a new period in the group's career. Original members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss have now left, with Gene saying their "negative influence" held the band back.

Kiss now comprises of Gene, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer
