Here is the situation. There is a big fat red button right in the centre of a small room you are standing in. You know that if you press this button you will net yourself £1,000,000. You can press this button as many times as you like, each giving you the same amount of cash, but in doing so there is 1/10,000 chance one of your closest relatives or partner will die every time you press it.
Do you take the risk and press the button? If so, how many times? Or if not, what if the situation was different and only people who you didn't know could die instead? Think about the situation carefully before answering please. ![]()
