I posted about this when it happened last night but Neil absolutely destroyed him, I think it was fair enough having him on there considering he had been allowed to ramble on earlier in the week without being challenged, it was good that Neil exposed him for what he is

It's a bit of a garbled interview, but the cultural and religious norms are being deliberately misunderstood... I think the questions could've been better, it was an opportunity missed to pin him down.

He seemed like a thoroughly decent guy.

That's nice when you meet someone you admire and they turn out to be nice and not an arse, despite the fact you had him worried there for a minute...

I totally agree, as a Christian Country we fail miserably to uphold our faith and police other faiths that take up residence in this country. The spectacle of watching a vicious hate preacher spew forth vile ramblings about how this country and others in the west are basically Satan is embarrassing to watch.

That this piece of crap was allowed to continue to do this for years and received police protection is a shameful indictment of this Country and a complete betrayal of our duty to protect our Christian heritage.

It finally took the American authorities to act and extradite this man to the states where justice was finally served.

But why do we allow people like that to flaunt their hate filled speech in our faces ? Freedom of speech perhaps , well yes this man does have a right to speak his mind but I also have a right not to have to be subjected in public by such vitriol.

Surely people like this need to be on a proper stage one that comes with a tight noose and a small trapdoor .

Time to get tough with these traitors.

Having seen the full interview and not just the snippet in the op Maybe he has a point with regard to how those identified initially are handled?
If they are British young men and women then to be automatically thought of as an enemy could be the wrong approach.
Creating a disconnect like this without fully understanding is dangerous and could really impact on community cohesion.

This is utter rubbish. Any parent of a muslim teenager would keep their sons and daughters passports safely locked up. They, more than anyone should be aware that their sons and daughters may be in danger of being radicalised. As daughters are usually so protected anyway, what reason would a teenage girl have for carrying her passport on her person anyway..
