Quite why Ashley chose Ann for him to ask is an odd one.
Again though,why he did so and did what Ashley told him to,is beyond my understanding.

Andrew asked Ashley if he should wax his bum and Ashley told him to ask Ann's "permission" . And Andrew knew it would offend Ann but he still asked Ann if he should get a woman to wax his bum, and Ann was disgusted that he even approached her about it .

And she advised him to ask a man to do it for him but she was still disgusted that he asked her , she told him off basically .

He later gave a fake apology to Ann and she told him he embarrassed her and he made some excuse about not meaning to do it .
