Default Lack of strong male characters?

Anyone else think this? It seems like BB8's female centric house all over again. Whilst it's been a good series thus far, I'm finding it hard to get into or care about as much as I did BB10.

Marcus, Siavash, Freddie, Rex, Darnell, and more were all very dominant male characters from the last two years and were, in some peoples opinions obviously, 'cool' guys you could get behind.

John James is cool, but he is about as interesting as an out of service elavator. Govan is not actually a male homo sapien.

There's just this strange 'missing thing' about the series I can't put my finger on. It's like too many housemates are from the same spectrum and should only be half the actual cast.

And the house ... I no longer like. It looks great in pictures but on camera it looks so ... un BB like. In terms of live feed viewing I actually rathered the BB10 house.

Yeah. Glad that's off my chest.
