Disclaimer: The following article is an opinion-based critique of a popular discussion board, and one that could be run rather more effectively if ever the admins and mods wake up to the fact they are slaughtering free speech by their abysmal set of rules and attitude.

There are several things wrong with the discussion board Thisisbigbrother.com :

1) The administrators and moderators do not believe in free debate. They loathe even tame arguments that would be better left to the individuals involved as opposed to stepping in all the time like that zit on your arse that just won’t go away.

2) The rules are pitiful for the most part, and serve only to take away a member’s right to hold an opinion. One particular rule (if you can stomach it) follows:

"Administrators of them forum have the right to delete, modify or change the content of any post at any time for any reason without notification to anyone. They can also ban or restrict forum members for any reason at anytime. If a moderator edits your post on the forum do not remove the edits."

And they say freedom thrives online?

I haven’t laughed so hard in years.

3) The members themselves. Yep, the overwhelming majority of the members are thick and are completely incapable of independent thought. Indeed, you will be lucky to find one that can write 3+ words in a given post, let alone a sentence!

4) Because point 3 was so fitting, refer to 3 again.

5) See 4.

6) You have more chance of finding intelligent life in a parrot’s faeces than you will ever on the discussion board that is TIBB.

Let us hope that, by reading through this informative critique, those over at TIBB will learn how to improve themselves considerably.

Footnote: Luckily, their fascist mods/admins can’t censor this particular thread, so it will remain here for all to either laugh along with (readers like me) or to infuriate (readers like them).

Either way, this article is A-Grade material and should be compulsory reading for all!
