I never cuddle anyone except my bf, I might hug my mom if I go home when I'm leaving, don't really like hugging other people tbh.

Only from my kids, Mr C and close friends ...at work they used to do it after the holidays so many awkward clinches anyway I've left now so no more of that

The worst is when you're saying goodbye to people or greeting them and one of you goes for a handshake and the other goes for the hug or cheek kiss

That happened to me when I was leaving with one of the managers when I was leaving I stuck out my hand and he leaned in for the cheek kiss, so we ended up in this awkward embrace, I'm still cringing thinking about it

If someone tries to cuddle me not part of my immediate family, i assume they have consumed an excessive amount of alcohol. It generally proves to be correct

I don't need cuddles I'm a strong man, but I'm also not afraid to give someone a cuddle. I was once part of a Spanish family and the cheek kiss and hug is a big part of their lives.

I love hugs and tend to greet/say goodbye to friends with them most of the time these days, I went out for lunch with about 15 people the other day and when we left everyone went round hugging each other some of them are only friends of a friend but no one cared

I'd way prefer to meet someone new with a hug too, I hate all the awkward kissing crap and handshakes aren't much better
