Obviously it's too late for Daze or Ali this week (most likely to be Daze going) but I do feel like we're going into the third week soon, and we still haven't culled any deadwood yet as the dullest Housemates keep surviving the vote (because Martha isn't going anywhere this week let's be honest.)
I know that we all have Housemates that we find disgusting or morally objectionable even, but at least that is an emotional response that the Housemate is bringing out of you, and it brings discussion to the Forum which is a good thing. I personally feel like if any of these face eviction next week, that we as a fandom have a duty to get a bore out of the house. Plus I am sick to death of safe TV, I want to punish Housemates who think that it's A-okay to just play the game like a Robot with no real emotions or interesting opinions. Here's the Housemates that I'm classing as deadwood, that I personally feel that we need to start getting out of the house. In no particular order: Hanah Segun Thomas Izaaz Baked Potato/Rosie Khaled Dean Martha None of these 8 have contributed anything interesting of note so far, and are playing scared like a lot of people do on TV these days, it needs to not be rewarded imo. Some of them need to start leaving, especially Thomas. Who's with me?

I’m just-about caught up with me Big Brother now (enough to get the gist of it, sha). I like Martha, so I have to disagree about her being deadwood. I agree with a lot of your choices, still. Who made Khaled head of the house? Like, who?

I don't mind her as a person, but she's very safe as a Housemate.
I'm looking for more interesting or witty Housemates, and so far Baked Potato has displayed neither trait imo. Although she's not in my personal bottom three.

I think Dean is one of the worst offenders... It's not that he is innately boring (like Segun or Martha)... It's that he COULD be interesting but is choosing not to be as a gameplay. That, to me, is the ultimate crime in BB.

It’s kind of annoying. Like, are they going out of their way to not show Thomas? Cause i’m sure he’s doing stuff and having conversations but then we see Lily acting like a tit at every oppurtunity

If only the series were longer and consequently able to show off more facets of each individual housemate, then they might be gotten out more organically and less slapdash.

Baked Potato has had some input. However the others you list I agree not really much at all No wonder Khaled was put off when Ali said she was going to leave. Without Ali, good or bad, right or wrong, on either side's part. He knows without her there, the only real highlights he'll have had has come from their exchanges/ confrontations. Even as head of house, he's acted like it's a boring chore. However in the greater part because of Ali he's had prominence. The rest however, yes it would be good to see them go. However most may likely ride through to the last week. |

Not sure how Khaled can be considered deadwood when he's been at the centre of the main talking points so far
Some housemates might be deadwood but it's really too early to say. There's 15 people in there so it's natural that some of them don't appear to be doing much when that's condensed to 45 mins of highlights a day. Every year people get accused of being deadwood only to prove really good housemates when a few people get evicted, they receive more coverage, and we get to see more aspects of their personality |
