All hail the Moyesiah

Poor Martha's barely been out the door 5 minutes and Ali is already fretting about one group 'protecting each other' and her being 'picked off'. It's not all about you Ali fgs
Meanwhile Segun, Hanah and Tom are just having a nice hug about him being safe and not even thinking about any of that stuff. Ali is trying to manufacture a divide that is barely there imo, certainly not enough for them to have any coherent control over who's up. And as for them never even having a chance to be evicted err did you notice who was up last week Ali? Did you notice who else was also there with you this week? It also seems a big reason for her now costing up to Hanah as she thinks she needs to pull her away from the other group |

Ugh! … I can’t with Ali … my list is endless… I just can’t! ….
Didn’t she, along with Dean, nominate 4 from ‘the other side’??? |

I don’t think Hanah will ditch the guys.

I really started to come round to her but then she talks about being picked off one by one when that literally hasn’t happened at all. If anything, she and Dean tried to do this when they were HOH but Emma literally put people up from all sides

![]() But unless the guys target her, which I can’t see them doing, she won’t turn on them. She seems quite loyal.

Exactly. I really do like Ali but I truly wish she could detach herself from this negative perception, and tinge of paranoia, she seems to be burdened with. Everyone else this episode seemed to be focused on their appreciation of those they care most about in the house, in showing understanding of other’s feelings and in comforting each other, whereas as poor Ali’s mind seemed to lead her down a much more miserable path, and to a place I do not believe she can feel comfortable being. Rather than coming from a place of nastiness, I do think it’s her underlying anxiety, insecurity and perhaps, overthinking, that makes her prone to this response to situations. This just makes me sad for her, as I’m not seeing any sense of happiness and enjoyment in her, which makes me feel she is constantly overwhelmed by a sense of unease. For her, I wish she could just let it go, fully relax and enjoy her experience more. |

Yes I agree…I don’t think she trusts other women as she does the boys. I am hoping she sees through Ali’s game. Mind you Segan and Marcello are a bit up Ali’s arse too…

The only reason anyone has any value to Ali in there is in their potential to be recruited to be a nom that she can control.

What I found funny was how Ali said the other group will pick them off like flies and they haven’t had a chance.
Has she forgotten last week two from the other side were up, and last night two from the other side were up and both times the public has backed the other side and taken someone from her side. It’s not the other side picking her side off, it’s the public. ![]()

She does seem to let it consume her, and I wish she's let it go. Sometimes it seems like she is, but other times not. I do think it's her own anxiety and paranoia and nothing more and to be honest, it's not surprising given the amount of time you have to think in that house.
However, I don't think she said much that wasn't wrong because she was talking about what's going to happen moving forward - she knows they are outnumbered and she knows they will support one another (she didn't criticise this, she just said they would which it true) and so she knows they're going to picked off one by one, which is left to normal nominations will happen. She also said that she thought Emma was just being fair, which I thought was nice to do. I also think she's merging to different things: because put up for eviction, and being saved. In her mind they lost Daze, Izaaz and now Martha - they are being picked off one by one but not so much by the HMs, but the public. It's just she is aware that the HMs will put them there, and the public will pick them off. All of that is the truth. ![]() Last edited by BBXX; 31-10-2024 at 08:08 AM. |

In the end she is simply spooked by the dawning realisation that her little faction just isn't popular on the outside.

She said, emma may have been doing it to be fair.. not that she did do it to be fair.

No she gave about 4 possible reasons as to why the 4 if them were picked, your example that you've taken as her final decision was just one of about 4 she out put there. She didn't come to a conclusion.

…yeah, Ali does seem to be quite an ‘extreme’ of over thinker, really…I don’t know if that’s any big element of her personality outside of the house but it’s definitely displayed inside the house…and I think for me, it feels as though her overthinking/suspicions have well….just been so self destructive in ruining her time in the house in terms of being more open to make connections and not suspicious of motives…yes, other housemates have ‘game play’ but that’s only one aspect of their character and I feel that Ali in a way, with her over thinking…has started the whole experience on a wobbly footing, which she hasn’t been able to quite get her balance with…she’s an interesting person but overly guarded and over thinking… |
