I've been watching bits of Corrie since the Tram Crash.
And the scenes I always see to see are the ones involving Charlotte's parents and John. I find them so uncomfortable and I mean it's just so upsetting hearing the parents talk to John about Charlotte. I was so sad the other day when they said how much she loved The Royal Family and stuff, I was just thinking 'I bet Charlotte would of loved to of still been alive to see the Royal wedding in 2011'. And of course when they brought John in for Christmas Dinner. I mean bless them, seriously. They're having Christmas Dinner with the man who murdered their Daughter and have no idea. I didn't like Charlotte from what I saw on that Tram Crash episode but does anyone else feel so bad for her and her parents? It's times like this I have to remember it's just a soap! But I get so caught up in emotion for some characters sometimes! Does anyone know if John is going to get caught in the future for what he did or do you all think he's going to get off free with it forever? I mean if you think about it, the only thing that would make people realise he did killed her is if he felt so bad and guilty he had to tell someone and had to let it off his chest. Other than that I can't see any reason at all as to why he would get found out.

In a way, yeah, I mean Charlotte herself obviously wasnt all there, and we saw as a mad woman, but to her parents, she was everything.
Charlotte actually first appeared when David burned his exam papers in 2007 btw xD |

All hail the Moyesiah

Not really, the whole story is a bit too ridiculous for me to get emotionally attached to it in any way, most of the time it seems like it's just meant to be comical

Hello
|
Totally agree with you OP. What got me was her parents playing that CD of her singing. Charlotte, although bonkers was just a lonely woman desperate for company. I don't think we're supposed to have sympathy though. Shows what a great actress Becky Hindley is.

I don't feel bad for her death more that I think Corrie lost a great character too soon. She was bonkers and folk like that are always welcome on the soaps for me.
