Just watching a doc called "I was bitten" on DMAX and this guy had his face literally ripped off by a bear. His eyes gouged out yet he feels so lucky to have lived. Just made me think.....

One which would be preferable to not having one altogether. I could still read, watch films and tv, play video games, go on walks, play some sports and I'd still have friends over sometimes. It wouldnt be great but I'd adjust to it I think

I think I'd prefer to be alive. I think I could adapt to being disfigured.

I'd feel lucky I still had life, I wouldn't care as to the facial disfigurement,I would still be me and if others couldn't see past that,that's their problem not mine.

I would be really glad to be alive and so no,I would not want to have died.

and what if you didn't have kids, and couldn't find a partner because you were so ugly that you give up on the chance of ever finding someone to love you and have kids with?? what then?

It's easy to say beauty is on the inside, but how many of us here have ever dated someone so hideously deformed?

Let's not sugar coat things, Sex is an important part of any relationship, and if you are disfigured to the point that you are not physically attractive yu will be lonely. Even if you have enuf money to attract someone, you will still know deep down that yu are physically repulsive and not physically attractive to that person, so really you are cheating that person out of a fullfilling sex life. that's incredibly selfish.
