I'll post ~thoughts~ later when I rewatch but I will say that the whole "women are equal to men" wokeness that keeps coming up each season nowadays really just seems like hot air considering that we haven't had a woman winner in six seasons

Also the biggest revelation of this season for me has been Michele

I just considered her a bit of a non-entity last time, which is why I was so dissatisfied with her win narratively. But this time she’s been fun, sweet and endearing - I’ve been surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed her content! idk maybe it was the edit in Kaoh Rong or maybe I wasn’t paying attention, or maybe she just was better this time around - but either way, happy to say I’m a convert

Yesssss she really is endearing and I'm so annoyed that she just got resorted to the semi-annual "good job for making it to the finale" third place woman who gets nothing more than pat on the head. She looked so sad during the vote read and she absolutely should've gotten votes from Wendell and Nick if not for this show's recent trend towards people forfeiting their personal Jury vote for voting for who they think will be seen as The Best Winner.

Honestly I think if you rewatch Kaoh Rong you'll like her there too. Her edit is slightly more subdued and flat because they needed to sanitize it so that she would be given a winning edit and because she came into this season with the perfect prepackaged storyline of someone whose win was seen as undeserving and is constantly trying to prove her worth as a player, but the charm is still there and she's just a fun presence.
