Officials have linked the rise in crime to the pandemic, a surge in unemployment, civil unrest, and protests.

There was a 162 per cent increase in the number of shooting victims and a 166 per cent increase in the number of shooting
incidents during the four-week period that ended on August 23 compared to the same period last year, police data shows.

New York City announced it will slash the police budget by $1billion in July.

If high profile celeb endorsement meant anything, Clinton with have been president for the past 4 years. And i would say his support in general has fallen dramatically. New York is currently going through a crime wave not seen for years. People who left New York to 'escape' Covid still haven't returned (who can blame them), there's even footage of Cuomo almost begging them to 'come back'.

Cuomo just caved to the extreme left because he thought it was the right way to go, which has produced disastrous results.
