Piers Morgan slams 'trans activist mob' as Macy Gray says 'surgery doesn't
make a woman'


Macy Gray has been dubbed "transphobic" after she told Piers Morgan on his
TalkTV show: "Just because you go change your [body] parts, doesn’t make you

Whatever your individual opinions on this subject (and everyone is entitled to one), I think it's important to understand that Piers' ratings are really struggling, so if you have genuine fears or questions around trans people, just know that your fears are being monetised to save a struggling career.

I understand the free speech angle, but this is the guy who walked off his own show to deny someone their free speech.

I do find the new career path of constantly minimising a severely at risk minority, extremely ghoulish. It has caused deaths, and will cause many more before you all eventually pretend you always accepted trans people in about 20-30 years time.

Why doesn't Ernest Owens do what they want to do, and let the other Twitter users decide for themselves if they want to not follow Macy Gray anymore.

One thing I can't stand about Twitter is when people try to form a mob trying to dictate to people how they should feel.

But with Macy Gray's initial comment, it just feels unnecessary tbh.

I don't get why people can't just try to be civil with each other.

Do you not see the difference in power between the 2 sides? One side is just asking for acceptance they exist, the other is a majority who refuse to accept it and use their platforms almost exclusively these days, to deny their existence and minimise them. Being civil towards your oppressors wouldn't ever be suggested in any other context.

I just hate cancel culture though so seeing someone on Twitter trying to do that pissed me off.

compared to ratings on network TV they are dire though. His audience reach has shrunk to next to nothing

But they are transwomen/men though, how is that denying anyone's existence? I'm happy to call anyone by whatever name they want etc but biology matters too especially for women. You talk about oppressors etc but you haven't acknowledged at all that women have always been oppressed because of our sex not our gender identity, just look at what's happening in the states right now fgs, that's 100% discriminating, controlling and oppressing women because of our Biology. Surgery and synthetic hormones don't change reality. Actively declining to play along with someone's delusions isn't denying their existence, especially when they literally aren't what they think they are.
