Stewart Lee : I can see why people like him but this 'carefully crafted jokes' lark seems to me like a poor way of explaining why their is only three laughs per two hour show.
I stand by what I say here. Although some of them are on the list for general comedic nuances. Not stand up in particular.

I really cant emphasize Bill Hicks enough. I know I am bordering on preaching here but I never heard of the man, some dude sent me a link, and all of a sudden this dead guy from Texas changed my life. Like all good comedians you at least owe it to yourself to look him up if you have never seen him!
