Took a notion for some for lunch - haven't had it for what seems like years........ absolutely delish - forgotten how good it can be.

French toast - that's a real blast from the past for me

My OH calls it eggy bread, I was brought up in Salsburgh before moving to Airdrie and the way we spoke there seemed to stick like calling a clothes horse a winter dyx, french toast/plo toast and lots more I also say ben for through or in

I call it eggy bread too
