Like: I'm very determined to reach the top of the life ladder; I'm more focused on things that I need, rather than things that I want.
Dislike: I'm always changing my personality to fit situations - not in a "fake" way, just because I feel like I have to act a certain way towards certain situations. I feel like I'm hardly recognisable when I'm in "work" mode. I confuse myself a lot because of it.

I've started to get more and more confident /buy on itunes over the years, while I was really a coward during middle school and I really appreciate that about myself. I also lately have realized that I just tend to ignore what negative things people have to say about me, unless it's constant picking on me.

I dislike that at times I'm too genuine with my friends irl, I tend to tell them, especially the closest friends straight up how I think. If they ask for an opinion and I say something negative or criticise it without insult them they still easily get offended.

Like: I'm a naturally sympathetic person, I don't find it easy to shut my eyes to suffering.

Dislike: I've always had an issue with nerves in social situations outside of those I'm comfortable with. Like, around new people I'll sometimes be quiet and less inclined to get as involved and I think that's been a serious detriment to me at times. I honestly wish I could be as outgoing and confident as some of my friends tbh.

I'm too kind. That sounds kind of arrogant, but I just dont know when to say no to someone. ...don't hate that about yourself, Caitlin...I think that you think of it also as something you hate about yourself because you know that when you're there for them..?...you're allowing them to cross that personal boundary of what you think you should do, which is to more or less to say no...'I'm sorry, you're not doing this to me again, I won't allow it..'../type thing...because you're never there when I need you to be...but not everyone is the same and it's probably not that, that person doesn't want to be there for you or wouldn't be, if that was their character...if they had the same level of giving and helping that you have../does that make sense...?...it's not their fault that they don't have that..in a way, they're not wrong I guess, because they're not leaving themselves open to the same hurt as you do when you feel let down, they're a little more self-preserving...but don't hate that about yourself because it's who you are and a beautiful thing...I think that the thing to do is to chose your friendships and the people in your life, for their good/their bad/and their ugly/their faults and flaws etc...and know how much their able to 'give back' and if you do that..?..and still choose to be you anyway and support them the way that you do, then you won't ever hate that about yourself or see it as a negative thing..../if that makes sense...the only reason that you feel it now, is because it makes you doubt who you are as being a good thing/because it wavers your self belief ...but please don't let it and keep being you...and they will keep being them.../only decide who you want to be part of your life, is all...

I like that i've learnt that i am who i am, this is my shape, this is my size, this is my hair colour, i accept that this is me.

I dislike that i get quite anxious in social situations, and that sometimes i feel inferior to others, this is something i'm working on and coaching myself on

But then my anxiety is part of me and i'm learning to just deal with it, and i question why i feel inferior and deal with the feelings it raises.

1) You LIKE your ability to open dozens of bottles of various wines and spirits without developing finger cramp.

2) You LIKE your ability to 'neck' ALL the contents of said bottles in ONE session.
