The premise would have been that Eloine was actually dead (which you would have found out later), and you were all responsible for it in different ways (hence leaving disgraced).
Also, she actually went missing (and died) 20 years ago, and the whole thing was basically a revenge game (set up by her daughter, who was a baby when Eloine died).

Dimitri's letter was a hidden clue that she went missing years ago - the paper it was written on was old and weathered - it would have turned out that he'd actually written it for someone else a long time ago, not you. It's intentionally written as though he is talking to one person rather than a group of people...the year is also missing from the date in the top right...

It would have gotten really complicated...

Anyway basically, one of you would have survived/won in the end by taking on Eloine's identity (becoming the 'worthy one').

IN THE DARKNESS THERE ARE NO WORDS - so when the trailer usually cuts to a dark screen, there would be words in it, for example...



But after the flames, there is a dark screen with no words.

THEN SIGHT BRINGS VISION AND NUMBERS CURSED.

The images that come after the dark screen represent 'sight', then 'the numbers'

There was also this which was more of a hidden clue...



...the time on it being 12:48 and it also appearing before you started etc.

I said it in pm, but I want to say for everyone, I really loved this game. It was the perfect forum game for me, like pub quiz, because you take time to mull it over so it and it can be played from any time zone, and it was thinker, which I loved.

Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease....bring it back again someday.... Work it out how you want it in your own time, but do do it again... You were really on to something great here.

...Jamie, you silly sausage....you've made your decision I know and the worst thing would be if you felt stressed about doing the game and worrying about the clues and were they too easy/too difficult/had you got them just right, etc...and just getting anxious about it, that would be the worst thing and something I would hate to happen more than anything ...so I won't say anything about your decision because I think that you feel it's the right one for you, which automatically makes it the best one.....



....but..(there's always a but, isn't there..)...for me, even with just the first episode, I was having so much fun...I actually didn't care that the clues got me a bit confused and that I could have stayed with the right answer with the first few because I had more fun going off in all different directions and trying to find connections...it's amazing how you can connect anything/anywhere if you're determined to and it's the best fun ever...I was totally certain that my final destination was wrong, I ould have been shocked if it hadn't been so I knew that I was giving you the wrong destination but I gave it to you anyway just because I had, had so much fun connecting it all...(plus all of the other weird connections and places I came up with...)...that really was such a hugely fun episode and I would say that your clues were completely perfect to make it hugely fun, so thank you for that, you star...you brightened up my day off, you have no idea ......
