And how do you know the circumstances of why their families came here - fleeing terror is not the only reason people are coming here as we are seeing all over Europe at the moment. Many more economic migrants than genuine refugees.

I'm not putting words in anyone's mouth, you made a statement which implied his family history needed to be taken into consideration when evaluating what led to his radicalisation, and I asked if that's what you meant.

Your second point contradicts everything else you say though, because if they aren't born here then they are (according to you at least) coming over here in mass droves? I do hope you're also aware it's perfectly possible for a Brit with native parents to become radicalised. There are many more influential factors in such a process than one's family history.

It was an explosion, it may take time for remains to be identified. A child wouldn't necessarily be carrying ID, they wouldn't have a driver's license.

A poor education imo. ISIS coverts many muslims, and non-muslims into extremists. I don't think the reasons why will ever make sense to us, but I do believe the vunerable are targeted.

Terrorism is not a new thing, its been around for many years.
This country was at war with the ira who blew up woman an children out shopping.

It all seemed so much harder to get my head around waking up this morning I was hoping it was just a really bad nightmare and then seconds after waking up remembering it wasnt

Can't stop crying about it it's truly awful and everyone is being strong and united which is great but I think it's important that we also find time to grieve

There is a lot of fear in the UK right now and it's so difficult to hear about


One thing I can't get my head around is it didn't take too long for the killer to be identified and surely he was blown to bits which makes me think did police know about this guy before this happened was he being watched as a potential terrorist and how long do they have to watch them for before they act? Until they blow themselves up as well as lots of innocent people something seems a bit off to me that they knew who he was quite quickly or did they get a tip off and whoever gave this tip off why did they not sound a warning sooner
