See, to me, "scoan" doesn't sound like a posher way of saying it - it sounds like a Glasgow Ned trying to say "Skon".

But i was referring to the Cairngorm mountains, the highest range of mountains in the UK

and on which all the snow melted this year for the first time since 2006. Normally a small parch stays all through the summer and autumn.
