Good for him, but it has to be down to personal choice, stopping eating meat alone will not safe the planet, I agree with Livia that the amount of plastic stuff sold needs to be addressed, and packaging should be top of that list, is there any reason sweet companies cannot provide tins which can be recycled, it used to be tins of sweets not plastic boxes of sweets or some form of recyclable cardboard instead, floor to ceiling displays of plastic boxes of sweets and biscuits this time of year are sickening in all honesty
