It's the opposite at my nearest Tesco - when I say the shelves are "empty" of toilet roll, they are not, there is a huge, conspicuous, pile of the cheapest "value" stuff that looks literally untouched

. To be fair it's like sand paper and clearly everyone knows! You'd be better using literally anything else. Piece of old carpet, the shower curtain, a cat...
