For the first time, all 10 of the celebrities had to take part in the opening Bush Tucker Trial, which included eating a kangaroo penis and being subjected to a host of creepy crawlies.

The group was split into two teams - boys versus girls - to compete over five rounds based on popular TV shows.

The winners were to get one final night of luxury before entering the jungle, while the losers faced a makeshift camp outside.

The celebrities, still in their smart outfits, were visibly shaken ahead of the challenge.
