Default Do you mind being addressed on a forum by your real name?

As we'll soon be getting an influx of new members I sometimes wonder if they feel excluded when people chat to others using real names instead of usernames. Also, if you're not particularly 'matey' with someone, would you mind if they said, for example, "oh Hi Greg" instead of Zee?

Obviously many have their own names as usernames now anyway. But I know when I was a newbie I'd be thinking either "Who the feck is Alice?" or "am I a cheeky bugger if I just start chatting like we're best mates?" Though that might be more one of my confidence hang ups than anything else!

So, discuss. Feel free to post your name too if you're happy for people to use it. Might stop some confuddlation too

And yep, I'm Kerry. Origionally joined as Jaye. Got to know people on here and felt comfortable and it was kindly changed last October for me
