I do see what your saying
but (there's always a but!) If I saw a friend of mine crying over something stupid or acting like an idiot I would pull them up on it, as I would anyone else who wasn't my friend
but I would carry on liking my friend cos I have an emotional connection to them where as I might dislike another person because of it.
