But they have spent almost three seasons going down a certain path, building up the conflict between the The Starks and Lannisters then get rid of almost all of the Starks in one episode. My question is, what was the point of the last two seasons if Robb Cat and Robs wife end up doing nothing for the overall plotting. I admit that in literature you have to move the character s around inorder to line them up for the denouement but this doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Kaleesi is another example. Two and a half seasons of her and her baby dragons. Where is this leading? I'm gonna get bored if there are these mass slaughters every now and again for no reason.
