Peaches Geldof's funeral took place in Kent today (April 21).

Family and friends of the late star attended a service at St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence Church in Davington, near Faversham.



The streets near the church, which is situated next to Sir Bob Geldof's Davington Priory country estate, were lined with people wishing to pay their final respects to the 25-year-old.

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York attended the service, alongside the likes of broadcaster Mariella Frostrup, Kate Moss and actress Trudie Styler.



Jools Holland, former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman, actress Jaime Winstone, TV presenter Alexa Chung and Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw were also seen in attendance.

Bob and Pixie Geldof are thought to have given eulogies during the service, which took place at the same church where Peaches married husband Thomas Cohen in 2012.

Geldof was pronounced dead at her home in Kent after authorities received a report of concern for a woman's welfare on the afternoon of April 7.

Kent police confirmed that a post-mortem into the death proved inconclusive pending toxicology results. They maintain that the death is being treated as "non-suspicious, unexplained" and "sudden".

Geldof spoke movingly about her "perfect" life with her two children - Astala Dylan Willow, 23 months, and Phaedra Bloom Forever, 11 months - in her final column for Mother & Baby magazine, which was published shortly after her passing.
