I'm confused. If her death was "unexplained and sudden", and the post-mortem results were "inconclusive" how come they've allowed her to be buried/cremated before the tox results are back? Sounds odd to me.

Could be they know she committed suicide and don't want that publicized for her families sake?

i was thinking exactly this, her committing suicide would be kinda strange though considering her saying her life was 'perfect' in the last article she wrote before she died?

Who really knows though? If she was suffering from depression she could have been putting up a front or trying to "fake it till you make it" type thing?

Yes,I wondered this too,surely they would need to keep doing tests to find out the cause of death.

Hmmm... I don't like it. They used the word "unexplained". What happens if she's cremated and then the tox results don't turn up anything. It all sounds rather odd to me.

Exactly.

Which is why I think that maybe they're just saying that for her families sake, I doubt if there was a thought that it could be suspicious they wouldn't cremate her just yet, especially when it's a high profile person like her

It's going to be a case of public record, they can't soft soap it because she's famous. Like Annie said, mere mortals have to wait to bury their loved ones if there is a question at all. I had to wait four weeks with my husband. If they really are making an exception to benefit someone who made her whole career out of courting the press, then there will be some questions to answer.
