The second live show of the series was watched by an average of 5.8 million viewers.
That's down 400,000 viewers on last weekend's previous series low for the first live show, despite last night clashing with Strictly Come Dancing for 25 minutes less. Worse still, it's down 500,000 on last year's second live show and down almost 2 million on 2014's equivalent episode. As for Strictly, it's more good news as the BBC series comes close to getting double X Factor's figures.
