Tbh, I don't think this woman would be any harm to your pet. When in work mode I'm sure she doesn't relish killing dogs and cats and does her utmost to help her animals in work.

However, you absolutely should change vets on mere principal. Fox hunting is despicable and you don't want to in anyway be supporting this woman to do it by paying good money for her services, knowing what disgusting activities she spends her money on.

And your second point here brings me back to my first point in this thread. The selfishness of putting one's ideology before the health of the dog in question.

You must have been happy with how the vets treated your dog before you found out she likes to hunt foxes.

I would image most vets see foxes as vermin and not as a pet, at the end of the day it’s your dog so you should decide where you take, but just because someone does or don’t hunt foxes it don’t make them a good or bad vet.

A cull of vermin done in quick and humane way is very different from hunting an animal down and killing it for sporting pleasure.
Vets need to kill animals sometimes. But not for kicks That's sick

It's an odd thing to do as a Vet. Most people like to think of their pets Vet to be animal lovers so it's a strange choice for her to publicise something like her enjoyment of Fox hunting, it's kind of a silly business decision on her part, if nothing else.

Amy is a paying customer, if she doesn't want to use that vet for any reason at all, that's 100% her choice.

Yeah, I changed Vets a few years ago for that reason,not because the Vet was Fox hunting, he just didn't have a good bed side manner, I feel like maybe he spent alot of his time with "working" or farm animals so viewed them as commodities rather than peoples pets or companions. The vets I changed to are so lovely, when I had to have my dog put down a few years ago I was a mess, they sent me a card afterwards and all.

Well meat eating is the "norm" in our society so I would say no. Hopefully sometime in the future it won't be the norm though

Also, I would say that eating meat is a bit different than spending you leisure time hunting down and killing an animal for the lols
