She is kinda friendly with someone who works there. Yeah. My dog though as I told her, I pay for everything.

So what's the point of the thread? Why doesn't she just take the dog to another vet instead of trying to make out that there's an evil monster working at her local?

Could it be down to how the surgeon delt with her when she was neutured?
it could be that or it could be she simply doesn't like vets; some dogs just don't like going to the vet full stop

Yes it is if she pertakes in an activity I deem as repulsive. I pay for my pet to be well cared for and now I have found out the woman who fronts the vets enjoys watching petrified animals be ripped apart I feel uneasy about leaving her there.

Would you take your kids to Harold Shippmans surgery if he was still alive and practising in your area?

Honestly, I would be anxious taking my dog to this person. I don’t think you’re being unreasonable at all.

If she takes that much pleasure in watching animals die and suffer, it kind of makes me think why she chose this field to work in. Just speculation

Because my mum made a good argument in that Cherry has always been well looked after up until now but for me part of the care I want is my mind being at ease if I had to leave her...knowing what I know now I do not.

fox, dog what's the difference?

and you're wrong, there are many wildlife protection charities that look after wildlife and would take an injured fox to the nearest vet

Someone may report her to Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
If she took part in an illegal activity.
https://www.rcvs.org.uk/concerns/

Must ask my vet friend how it is with fox hunting these days and what she thinks of that vet

Well if you've always had a good service, then why change? She is obviously professional in her job and her hobbies shouldn't even come into it when the health of your dog is the priority.

No she sounds like a daft cow. Why would you enjoy distressing animals when your career is to take care of them

I could get the same level of care at a vets where they like animals enough to not enjoy watching them slaughtered. That's why.

Chasing an animal to the point of exhaustion and killing it mercilessly is in-humane. What I don’t get is that she chose to work in an environment that helps animals. Also, any vet must be professional and provide a good service to customers, otherwise she’d be ******

Honestly, just report her and hope for the best

If the only person in the World who could cure cancer was a fox hunter, would you ask for their help if you needed it?

But this vet isn't the only person with the cure for cancer and I'm sure there's other better trained vets available, who actually care for animals.
