you will do it Niamh. Maybe I'll have a go another year, because it's definitely not happening this year. I grew runner beans one year, I was dizzy from my own success... and they tasted amazing! It is satisfying to eat something you've grown even though I've only done it once.
My friend has a couple of rescued factory hens. They were really shabby when he got them with lots of bald patches. Now they live in a lovely fenced in garden with their own little house and the eggs taste amazing. I would quite like to do that. Have rescued chickens, not lay eggs.
